Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians who channel the Path of Dead Magic are anathema to magical creatures, and for good reason. They walk apart from the world, pools of nothingness. They come to being through a variety of circumstances, none of them normal. These barbarians are neutralising forces that dampen and consume the turbulent raging of magical currents, allowing them to resist magical effects and, when in rage, emit a field of anti-magic.

Level 3: Magic dampening

As the neutralising forces in your soul come into being, they dampen magical effects coming your way.

As a reaction, you can give yourself advantage on a saving throw to resist or avoid a magical effect. You can do this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.

As an action, you can give yourself resistance to damage caused by magical effects, lasting until your next turn. You can do this a number of times equal to half your proficiency bonus per long rest.

Level 3: Unravelling rage

Your rage can unravel magical effects, rendering them useless.

Once per turn, as a bonus action, while your rage is active, you can attempt to unravel a spell.

If the spell is created by a creature, they must roll a wisdom saving throw (DC 10+your constitution modifier). If not, you roll, the DC of the check is determined by the DM, and your add your constitution modifier to the check. If you succeed or the creature fails, the spell is unravelled and ceases.

Additionally, when you attempt to break the concentration of a creature, they have disadvantage.

Level 6: Antimagic Void

While your rage is active, you are surrounded by a 10ft emanation of anti-magic. Creatures in the sphere are affected in the following ways:

1: Any creature causing a magical effect that enters the emanation must succeed on a wisdom saving throw or the effect ceases immediately.

2: Any magical object of your choice in the emanation has its properties dampened. This does not include artifacts and legendary magic items.

3: Creatures of your choice cannot cast spells in the region.

Additionally, you have advantage on spell saving throws while raging.

Well of Antimagic

When you are raging, creatures in your anti-magic void emanation are subject to these additional effects:

1: Creatures of your choice have advantage on spell saving throws.

2: Creatures animated or summoned by spells are vulnerable to all damage.

3: Spell attack rolls made to hit creatures within the sphere have a -3 modifier added to their rolls

Additionally, while your rage is active you have resistance to all damage caused by magical effects.
