Base Class: Wizard
Striving to reach the heights of magic, you plunge into it with your head trying to understand the essence and meaning of each symbol, do not try to thoughtlessly use magic, but delve into its essence and comprehend the secrets of the magic word. A rune writer is a seeker and scientist, some spend their lives searching for ancient runes that were available to other civilizations, some spend their lives in their towers and mansions trying to improve the runic script and make the runes become stronger. But each scribe only decides for himself who he is and what he pursues, because the versatility of runes is much more than ordinary magic...
Level 2: The Basics of Writing and Autonomy
This is your fundamental skill. You can transfer spells from your spellbook to the surface by writing runes. Endless Drawing: You don't have a limit on the number of runes you can cast. You are limited only by the application time and materials (ink, chisel). Power Up and Distance: When you create a rune, you "put" some of your magical power into it. Mechanics: You spend a spell slot to create a rune of this level. This energy remains inside the rune. Autonomy: Once the rune is completed and powered, it becomes an autonomous object. You can go to another continent or even to another plane of existence — the rune will remain active and will work as soon as the trigger occurs. Triggers: When creating, you set the condition: Time: Trigger in 10 seconds. Event: A touch, a certain word, the appearance of a specific type of creature.
Level 6: Runic Chains and Logic
Your runes are no longer single spells. You learn to connect them into logical chains. Connecting lines: You can draw magic lines between any number of runes. Conditional magic: You can create staves with the conditions: "If Rune A is triggered, Rune B will activate only after 10 seconds," or "Rune C will only work if Rune D has absorbed enough fire." Charge transfer: You can create a "Backbone" — one battery rune (into which you have poured a level 5 cell), which feeds 10 small runes giving them energy.
Level 10: Macro writting
You go from small signs to huge squares. Territorial law: You can draw a runic text covering a building, a bridge, or an entire mountain. Field Effect: Instead of an instant explosion, giant texts create permanent effects in the area of their writing. Resilience: Giant texts are incredibly difficult to destroy. To erase such a text, you need to physically destroy the surface on which it is carved, or spend hours magically unwinding it.
Level 14: Streaming Saturation
You're reaching the peak of your skill. You no longer need to spend your own spell slots to power each rune. External Power: Your runes can draw magic from the environment (sunlight, heat, background magic of the world). Eternal Runes: You can create runes that do not disappear after being triggered, but recharge themselves. Your "autonomous traps" can now be triggered an infinite number of times over the centuries without your participation.
