Base Class: Fighter
Thunderstrikers channel momentum, thunder, and lightning through their bodies, transforming movement into a weapon. They strike with explosive force, cross battlefields in an instant, and vanish before their enemies can retaliate. To a Thunderstriker, combat is not a contest of endurance—it is a storm that breaks before anyone realizes it has arrived.
Lightning Step
You learn to move with explosive bursts of speed.
As a bonus action, you can move up to half your Speed without provoking Opportunity Attacks.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.
Starting at 10th level, this movement increases to your full Speed.
Thunderous Discipline
You have trained your body to channel thunderous force.
Your unarmed strikes gain the following benefits:
- They deal 1d6 bludgeoning damage instead of their normal damage.
- You can use Strength or Dexterity for their attack and damage rolls.
- When you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, it takes an additional 1d4 thunder damage.
The thunder damage increases to 1d6 at 7th level and 1d8 at 15th level.
In addition, you gain proficiency in either Athletics or Acrobatics.
If you already have proficiency in your chosen skill, you gain expertise in that skill instead.
Blink of Thunder
You vanish in a crack of thunder before an attack can land.
When a creature you can see makes an attack roll against you, you can use your reaction to teleport to an unoccupied space you can see within 30 feet.
The triggering attack automatically misses.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.
Whenever you teleport using this feature, each creature within 5 feet of the space you left must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take thunder damage equal to your proficiency bonus.
Save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength or Dexterity modifier (your choice).
Storm’s Swiftness
The storm accelerates your body beyond mortal limits.
Your walking speed increases by 10 feet.
Additionally, when you make a Dexterity saving throw against an effect you can see, you gain advantage on the saving throw.
You lose this benefit while incapacitated.
Improved Lightning Step
The movement granted by Lightning Step becomes equal to your full Speed.
Improved Blink of Thunder
The teleport distance of Blink of Thunder increases to 60 feet.
Storm’s Dance
Your motion becomes impossible to predict.
You gain proficiency in Dexterity saving throws.
If you already have proficiency in Dexterity saving throws, you instead gain proficiency in Wisdom saving throws.
In addition, when you take the Attack action, you can move up to half your Speed between attacks without provoking Opportunity Attacks.
Finally, you gain advantage on Initiative rolls.
Raijin’s Wrath
You become a living storm.
As a bonus action, you enter a state of thunderous ascension that lasts for 1 minute.
While this state lasts:
- Your Speed is doubled.
- Your unarmed strikes deal an extra 2d6 thunder damage.
- When you take the Attack action, you can make one additional unarmed strike as part of that action.
- Difficult terrain doesn’t cost you extra movement.
- You have resistance to lightning and thunder damage.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest.
