Base Class: Monk
The Way of the Water Serpent Monk utilizes Patient Defense to build up additional damage added to your weapon or unarmed strikes. The damage done by water for this class is Force Damage. As you level down through this subclass, you will gain class features to control water and alter the battlefield to make enemies more vulnerable to your strikes.
Level 3: Kinetic Redirect
You can move kinetic energy around you like water, taking strikes made by your enemies into empowerment for yours.
Whenever you take the Dodge action with Patient Defense, attacks made against you will add 1d8 of Kinetic Dice. When you are making a damage dice roll, you can choose to use a Force Point to add any Kinetic Dice that you've accumulated. At level 3 you can save 1d8, 2d8 at level 5, 3d8 at level 7, 2d10 at level 9, and 3d10 at level 12. Any damage added by kinetic dice is Force Damage.
You lose any Kinetic Dice you've accumulated after 1 minute without making an attack action
Level 3: With The Flow
You can move water around you with the kinetic energy flowing through your body.
You have a Swim Speed of equal to your Walking Speed and your attacks are not made at disadvantage while underwater.
Level 6: One With Water
You have attuned your energy to that of water, giving you a degree of control over it.
You have the Shape Water cantrip prepared and can cast at will without verbal or material components. You also gain spells that can be cast with one Force Point. These spells use your Wisdom proficiency modifier and don't require material components.

Level 11: Breath of the Water Dragon
The energy within you connects with the energy of Leviathan through her lungs.
You are able to breathe underwater
Level 17: Leviathan's Force
You tap into the force of the tides themselves through the ancient song of Leviathan.
Whenever you make a weapon attack, you can use one Force point to cause one of three additional effect.
Geyser Push. On an Attack, you can choose to spend one Force Point to shoot a geyser of kinetic energy and cause the target to make a STR saving throw or be pushed 10 ft.
Tidal Pull. On an attack, you can choose to spend one Force Point and an additional target within 30 ft. of your target must succeed in a STR saving throw or is pulled 10 ft. toward you
Inner Wave. As a bonus action, cast Tidal Wave with one Force Point.
