Features:
Level 3 - Classification Traits
You choose one classification: Saurischian or Ornithischian. This choice grants base traits and Dinosaur Lineages, which gives additional abilities.

Choose Saurischian or Ornithischian.

Saurischian traits: You embody theropods and long-necked titans-- adapted for aggression and precision.

-Your unarmed strikes can deal piercing or slashing damage (your choice)
-You gain natural weapons (bite and claw), which count as monk weapons.
-You gain +1 bonus for damage rolls and attacks.
-Gain proficiency in Survival or Athletics

Saurischian lineage:
Baryonyx (Heavy Claw) - A patient fisher and ambush predator.
You gain the following:

(1 focus point) Hooked Claw: When grappling, you can apply disadvantage on saving throws on creatures the same size or one size larger than you. Your claws are sharp so if they fail the saving throw, they take damage equal to your damage modifier.

Velociraptor (Swift Thief) - Fast, precise, and deadly.
You gain the following:

(1 focus point) Skirmisher: After attacking, you can move equal to your walking speed (even if you used up all your movement) without provoking opportunity attacks.


Ornithischian traits: You channel herbivorous dinosaurs-- resilient, powerful, and controlling the battlefield.

-You gain the ability to topple or push a creature (regardless of their size) 10 feet away from you, and upon applying these, the creature must do a saving throw with disadvantage.
-You gain +1 bonus on Ki save DC.
-You gain proficiency in Nature or Insight

Ornithiscian Lineage:
Pachyrhinosaurus (Thick-nosed lizard) - A living battering ram.
You gain the following:

Thick Hide: Gain temporary HP equal to Wisdom Modifier at start of combat.

Ankylosaurus (Fused lizard) - The tough armored skeleton.
You gain the following:

Body Armor: Your body is hardened. Gain +2 bonus unarmored defense

Level 6 - Fossilized Adaptation
Your body evolves further. You gain one adaptation based on your classification:

Saurischian:
Predator’s Momentum - If you reduce a creature to 0 HP, you can make one unarmed strike as an extra action to any other creature 5 feet from you

Ornithischian:
Immovable Bulk - If you are moved against your will, reduce distance by 10 feet, or you can spend 1 ki point to negate it completely

Level 11 - Ancient Instincts
Your dinosaur nature becomes more dominant. You gain the following:

You gain advantage on initiative rolls.
Once per turn, you can spend 2 ki to: Add Martial Arts die to damage, or impose disadvantage on enemy attack rolls against you until next turn.

Level 17 - Primal Avatar
You fully embody a prehistoric apex form.
You gain the following:
As a bonus action, spend 3 focus points to break your prehistoric embodiment limit for 1 minute:
-You gain +2 AC
-Your attacks deal extra 1d8 damage
-You gain temporary HP equal to twice your monk level

Additional effect based on classification:

Saurischian:
-Critical hits on 19–20
-Movement speed increases by 20 ft

Ornithischian:
-Resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, slashing
-Enemies that hit you take damage equal to Wisdom modifier
