Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

The Duskblade blurs the line between spellcaster and warrior. A duskblade is equally adept at manipulating the weave as wielding a weapon. With both armour and weapon expertise, they are at home on the frontlines or at the back, they are able to effortlessly flow from one role to the other as a battle progresses. In order to combine these disciplines, a duskblade learns to channel their magic through their weapons granting them unique abilities.

The Duskblade gets its name from the elite sword-wielding units of the shadar-kai in the Shadowfell. However, ambitious mages and swordfighters alike have sought out the secrets of the Duskblade. Half-elves of drow or shadar-kai descent boast the largest number of Duskblades. However, the skills and talents have slowly spread among a few elite families of all races.
