Harness Fey Magic and Unpredictable Grace

Warriors of Mischief dedicate themselves to hunting the elusive creatures of the Feywild. By following their trails, studying their habits, and surviving their tricks, these warriors gradually adopt the magic and movements of the fey themselves. Many eventually earn the trust of fey companions, while others become so touched by the Feywild that they embody its whimsy and unpredictability in battle.

Level 3: Hunting Buddy

You can cast Find Familiar as a Ritual.
Your familiar must be Challenge Rating of 0 and have be a Fey.

"...Your familiar acts independently of you, but it obeys your commands..."

There are not many options for Challenge Rating 0 and Fey so I strongly recommend to create your own or a variation of this Blink Cat (variation) but with no attack.

Discuss with your Dungeon Master on session 0 for the best viable option for your Huting buddy!

Level 3: Fey Hunt

Your obsession with hunting and chasing the fey unlocked new paths. You can now draw from the playful whimsical forces and infuse them to your attacks. You may spend one Focus point to get one of the following:

Fey Step: Bonus Action you can cast Misty Step
Fey Chase: Bonus you can cast Faerie Fire to a single target.
When you cast Faerie Fire this way the opponent does not roll for a dexterity roll and you can only have only 1 target under this effect.

If you try to Fey Chase a different target the first Faerie Fire is being cancelled, so it is only the latest active one.

Level 6: Hunter's Thrill

When you are closing up to a prey with your Fey Hunt feature you get moderately excited! If your target is affected by Fey Chase and you just used Fey Step to approach that target.

Choose one of the following:

Hunt Euphoria: Roll a d4 on a 4 recover one Focus point.
Light Step: Ignore difficult terrain unti the end of your turn.
Heavy Step: On your first attack against that target you forgo any advantages on the attack that faerie fire or any other means gives you and roll your Martial Arts Dice twice.

Level 11: Mistwalker Stance

Stillness brings success, your defense can be used as a weapon, once you focused enough you can carry the inner momentum to your attacks. After you use your Heightened Focus, for your Patient Defense you may keep one of the two Martial Arts roll to use on your next first attack. If that attack is a Heavy step of the Hunter's Thrill feature, you may use the rolled outcome for both die.

Level 17: Focus Overload

While in combat, if your Focus Points pool is full, you can expend all your Focus Points to enter a Focus Overload state.
For a number of turns equal to half your Monk level (rounded down), you gain the following benefits:

  • You can use all Warrior of Mischief features without spending Focus Points.
  • You can use Heightened Focus's Patient Defence without spending Focus Points.

The effect ends early if:

When Focus Overload ends, you regain a number of Focus Points equal to half your maximum Focus Points (rounded down, minimum 1).
You can use this feature once per Long Rest.
