Base Class: Barbarian
Within the darkest reaches of the Underdark, a violent torrent of rage builds as those with utter devotion to Lolth's violence seek conquest through brute strength given with her blessings. Warriors who take this path excel at hunting and running down their prey with the ferocity of the spiders who lack the grace of weaving a web. They are both pit fighter and assassin; cunning hunter and brutal butcher. Reveling in the fear and gore of their prey the Fangs bear down on any who disobey Lolth or appear as a worthy challenger.
Restriction: Drow Only
Only drow can follow the Path of the Fang. The Fangs fills a particular niche in drow society and culture.
Your DM can lift this restriction to better suit the campaign. The restriction exists for the Forgotten Realms. It might not apply to your DM’s setting or your DM’s version of the Realms.
Venomous Fang
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you can channel spider venom into your weapon strikes. While you’re raging, the first creature you hit on each of your turns with a weapon attack takes extra damage equal to 1d6 + half your barbarian level rounded down. The extra damage is necrotic or poison; you choose the type of damage when you gain this feature.
Necrotic
The damage you deal with Venomous Fang is necrotic
Poison
The damage you deal with Venomous Fang is poison.
Skill Proficiency
At 3rd level you gain proficiency in Stealth.
Arachnid Mobility
Starting at 6th level you gain the ability to move up, down, and across vertical surfaces and upside down along ceilings, without making an ability check. You also gain a climbing speed equal to your walking speed. You also ignore restrictions caused by webbing.
Aura of Lolth
At 10th level, when you enter a rage, choose any number of creatures that you can see within 30ft. Those creatures must succeed on a wisdom saving throw or be frightened of you for the duration of the rage. The DC is 8 + proficiency + Charisma Modifier.
Blessing of the Spider Goddess
Beginning at 14th level, after you enter a rage, as an action you can transform into your spider form for the duration of your rage (or until you revert as an action or if you fall unconscious or die), which grants you benefits:
Spider Blood. Resistance to poison and necrotic damage
Spider Form. You grow 4 spider legs from your back that curve forward, you can attack with them as a bonus action, you are proficient with them. You also gain advantage on all grapple checks. You can use your action to try to pin a creature grappled by you. To do so, make another grapple check. If you succeed, you and the creature are both restrained until the grapple ends.
Your Spider Form attacks deal 2d8 piercing damage.
Spider Eyes. You gain a blindsight out to 10'
Sunlight Hypersensitivity. You take 20 radiant damage when you starts your turn in sunlight. While in sunlight, you have disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks.
