Base Class: Rogue
This subclass combines the deadly precision and stealth of a rogue with gritty survivalist skills. Rather than an urban thief, the Scout serves as the party's eyes and ear - experts at navigating the wild, ambushing enemies, and maintaining mobility.
Skirmisher
Your walking speed increases by 10ft and you have a swimming and climbing speed equal to your walking speed.
Whenever you use Cunning Action, you can choose 2 of the options instead of 1. However, the two options cannot be the same. In addition, you gain the following additional Cunning Action options:
- Study: You take the Study action.
- Search: You take the Search action
Survivalist
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the Nature and Survival skills if you don’t already have it. Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make that uses either of those proficiencies.
Improved Cunning Action
You gain the following Cunning Action options:
- Sudden Strike: You make one attack with a one-handed weapon in your hand. If the attack hits, you do not add the ability modifier to the damage roll (unless it's negative).
- Multiattack Guard: Until the start of your next turn, whenever any creature hits you with an attack, you gain a +4 bonus to AC against all subsequent attacks made by that creature for the rest of the turn.
- Long Aim: Until the end of your turn, your normal and long range attacks with ranged and thrown weapon attacks increases by 60ft.
Ambush Master
You have Advantage on Initiative rolls. In addition, you have Advantage on attack rolls against the first creature you hit during the first round of combat until the start of your next turn.
Master Speedster
You can use three options whenever you take a Cunning Action rather than two. In addition, you can use Sneak Attack twice per turn rather than once, so long as you use Sneak Attack on a different target on that turn.
