Artificer
Base Class: Artificer

A warweaver is an artificer who casts magic by literally manipulating the threads of the Weave. The warweaver uses their skills to sew a magical connection between them and their allies, allowing them to share magical effects with their comrades in order to protect them while fighting by their side.

Level 3: Tools of the Trade

You gain the following benefits.

Tool Proficiency. You gain proficiency with weaver’s tools. If you already have this tool proficiency, you gain proficiency with another type of artisan’s tools of your choice.

Clothing Crafting. When you craft nonmagical or magical clothing, the amount of time required to craft it is halved.

Level 3: Warweaver Spells

You always have certain spells prepared after you reach particular levels in this class, as shown in the Warweaver Spells table. These spells count as artificer spells for you, but they don’t count against the number of artificer spells you prepare.

Warweaver Spells

Level 3: Eldritch Tapestry

Your expert understanding of the Weave has taught you how to manipulate its unseen strands to thread magical connections between you and your allies. At the end of the long rest, with your weaver's tools in hand, you can touch a number of willing creatures other than you equal to your intelligence modifier. You then create a magical connection, called an eldritch tapestry, between those creatures and yourself. The eldritch tapestry lasts until you finish a long rest.

Whenever you cast an artificer spell that targets exactly one creature connected to your eldritch tapestry (including yourself), you may also target a second creature with the same spell. The new target must also be connected by the eldritch tapestry and within range of the spell.

Level 5: Weave Casting

You learn one cantrip from the Artificer spell list.

In addition, if you use your action to cast an artificer cantrip while holding your weaver’s tools, you can cast a different cantrip as part of the same action. The second cantrip must have a casting time of one action. If it would deal damage, treat it as though you cast it as a level 1 character.

Level 9: Interlaced Space

When attempting to target a creature connected to your Eldritch Tapestry, you may treat the spell's range as doubled (treat a range of 'touch' as double your reach).

In addition, as an action, you can select two creatures connected by your eldritch tapestry and within 60 ft. of each other. The two creatures may choose from one of the following effects:

  • One creature teleports to an unoccupied space within 5 feet of the other creature.
  • The two creatures teleport to each other's location, swapping places.

After you use this feature once, you must either finish a short or long rest, or you must expend a 2nd level spell in order to use it again.

Alternatively, when you use this feature, you may expend a spell slot greater than 2nd level to increase the number of creatures you can select, increasing the number of creatures who can teleport by one for every increased spell level.

Level 15: Perfected Tapestry

When you use your Eldritch Tapestry feature during the casting of a 1st or 2nd level spell, you can target all creatures connected by the Eldritch Tapestry and within range of the spell (including yourself).
