Base Class: Warlock
Throughout the land of Krynn, and beyond, five ancient dragons sit in solitude. Those brave enough to seek their favor can, for a price, attain a portion of their might. A warlock who seeks out one of the five ancient and powerful dragons of the continent may gain a fraction of their immense power in exchange for unwavering servitude.
Whether it be Vorramyx, the Drowned King, the Withering Heart, the Harbinger of Despair; Velazrith, the Shifting Storm, the Crown of Chains, the Harbinger of Domination; Thalvraxis, the Unending Nightmare, the Harbinger of Distrust; Azrakul the Crimson Sovereign, the Breath of Ruin, the Harbinger of Doom; or Skalvryx, the White Death, the Harbinger of Desolation—these draconic patrons are often cunning and manipulative, sending their warlock envoys into the world as their eyes, ears, and instruments of will. Whether their aims are to amass wealth, infiltrate mortal societies, or uncover the schemes of their enemies, many ancient dragons rely on mortal agents to maintain their influence over the world.
Forging such a pact is a perilous endeavor. Few who seek this power ever obtain it—and those who do walk a razor’s edge. Dragons are known to devour their minions at the first sign of failure—or even a hint of disobedience. Should a patron suspect, even for a moment, that their warlock is not fully under their control, the consequences are swift and final. Yet for those few who prove their loyalty, the rewards are great—and their power only continues to grow.

Breath Weapon
3rd-level Draconic Pact feature
You have a breath attack that deals the same damage type associate with your chosen draconic patron. As a Bonus Action on your turn you can exhale a 30-foot line or a 15-foot cone. Each creature in that area makes a Dexterity saving throw against your Warlock spell save DC, taking 2d8 damage of the chosen type on a failed save or half as much damage on a successful one.
You regain the expended use of your Breath Weapon after a Short Rest. You can also expend a Warlock spell slot (no action required) to regain your use of it.
The damage and range of your breath weapon increases as you gain Warlock levels.
- 6th Level: 4d8 damage.
- 10th Level: 6d8 damage, and you exhale either a 30-foot cone or a 60-foot line.
- 14th level: 8d8 damage.

In that moment, you are no mere warlock, but an avatar of your master’s might, a glimpse of the dragon you may yet become. You gain the following benefits for 1 minute:
- Your size increases by one category.
- You grow wings and have a flying speed of 60 feet.
