Base Class: Monk
Instead of following the magic of a dragon, the Way of the Ascendent Wyrm takes on the battle characteristics of a dragon
Draconic Body
Draconic Body
Your martial arts manifest the natural weapons of a dragon.
Whenever you make an Unarmed Strike, you can choose for it to be a Bite, Claw, or Tail attack. These attacks are Unarmed Strikes and use all the normal rules for your Unarmed Strikes, including your attack bonus, Martial Arts die, and damage modifiers. Each attack deals the damage type listed below and gains its associated effect.
Bite
• Damage Type: Piercing
• Reach: 5 feet
• Draining Bite. Once on each of your turns, when you hit with this attack, you regain hit points equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of 1).
Claws
• Damage Type: Slashing
• Reach: 5 feet
• Grasping Talons. Once on each of your turns, when you hit a creature with this attack, you can immediately attempt to grapple it as part of the same attack.
Tail
• Damage Type: Bludgeoning
• Property: Reach
• Sweeping Tail. Once on each of your turns, when you hit a creature with this attack, the target must succeed on a Strength saving throw against your Focus Save DC or be knocked prone.
Predatory instinct
Predatory Instinct
Your movements resemble a hunting dragon pursuing wounded prey.
When you spend 1 or more Focus Points during your turn, choose one creature you damaged this turn. Until the start of your next turn:
• Difficult Terrain doesn't cost you extra movement while moving toward that creature.
• That creature has disadvantage on Opportunity Attacks against you.
Wyrm’s Momentum
Wyrm's Momentum
Your attacks flow together with draconic precision.
Once on each of your turns, when you hit a creature with two different Draconic Attacks, choose one of the following effects:
• Maul. The target takes additional damage equal to one roll of your Martial Arts die.
• Drive Back. You push the target up to 10 feet.
• Overwhelm. You can immediately move up to 10 feet without provoking Opportunity Attacks.
Dragon’s Ferocity
Dragon's Ferocity
Your draconic techniques become a devastating chain of attacks.
Once on each of your turns, when you hit a creature with two different Draconic Attacks, you can unleash a Predator's Combo. Choose one of the following effects:
• Savage Rend. The target takes extra damage equal to two rolls of your Martial Arts die.
• Crushing Assault. The target must succeed on a Strength saving throw against your Focus Save DC or be knocked prone. On a successful save, you can instead push the target up to 10 feet.
• Relentless Pursuit. You can move up to half your Speed without provoking Opportunity Attacks from the target, then make one Unarmed Strike against it.
Perfect Dragon Form
Perfect Dragon Form
As a Bonus Action, you assume your Perfect Dragon Form for 1 minute. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a Long Rest unless you expend 4 Focus Points to use it again.
While in this form:
• Your Speed increases by 15 feet.
• You gain a climb speed and swim speed equal to your Speed.
• The reach of your Bite and Claws becomes 10 feet, and your Tail has a reach of 15 feet.
• Once on each of your turns, one of your Draconic Attacks deals an extra 3 Martial Arts dice of damage.
• When you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, you can immediately move up to half your Speed and make one Draconic Attack against a different creature.
