Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

When you were born, or as a rite of passage into adulthood, you were anointed in a lunar ceremony. On the night of a full moon, ancient rituals and resounding chants opened your soul to the pale lunar light, and subtle radiance sewed the essence of bestial fury into your very being. The energy of untamed moonlight now flows through you even if you can’t see the midnight sun.

Bestial Form

When you enter rage, you transform into a beastly hybrid and gain the following properties.

  • You develop teeth, claws, and fur or scales adapted to the environment where you gained your abilities. You are considered a shape changer. You are considered to be in your true form when you are not raging.
  • If you are forced to stop raging because you are a shape changer (such as by moonbeam), you can re-enter rage without expending an additional rage as long as you do so by the end of your next turn.
  • You are no longer resistant to damage dealt by silvered weapons.
  • Your unarmed strikes deal 2d6 slashing or bludgeoning damage.
  • You are not proficient in any weapons other than unarmed strikes and improvised weapons, and you do not benefit from holding a shield.
  • You have a pool of d10s equal to half your Barbarian level (round up): As a bonus action, you can spend a number of those dice equal to your proficiency bonus or less. Roll the spent dice and add them together. You regain a number of hit points equal to the total. You regain all of the spent die at the end of a long rest.
  • Choose one of the following environments when you take this path. You gain the abilities of that option whenever you rage, and you stay raging so long as you use the abilities of the selected option before the end of your turn:
    • Swamp: You gain a swimming speed equal to your walking speed, and you can hold your breath for up to 30 minutes.
    • Jungle/ Forest: You gain a climb speed equal to your walking speed
    • Cave: You gain a burrowing speed equal to half of your walking speed, and while you are underground, you have tremor sense with a range of 10 feet. You cannot burrow through solid terrain such as rock or stone.
    • Canyon: When you fall and aren’t incapacitated, you can subtract up to 100 feet from the fall when calculating falling damage, and you can move up to 2 feet  horizontally for every 1 foot you descend.

Keen Sense

When choose this path, choose one of the following senses: hearing, sight, or smell. You have advantage on  Perception checks that rely on that sense.

Bounding Advance

Once you reach 6th level in this class, you can use your bonus action to prepare to leap forth. You gain and additional 10 feet of movement on that turn, and when you move, you gain the following benefits until you change direction, stop moving, or your turn ends:

  • You ignore difficult terrain.
  • You take no damage from hazardous terrain.
  • Your standing and running long and high jump distances are equal to half your walk speed.

Bloodied Frenzy

Starting at 10th level, when you fall below half of your maximum HP, you can use your bonus action to make a bite attack. The attack deals 1d4 piercing damage, if it is successful, and you add your strength modifier to the attack and damage rolls. You can perform this attack for 1 minute, and you cannot gain access to this ability again until you finish a long rest.

Bloodied Vengeance

Starting at 10th level, whenever you receive damage that reduces your HP to below half its maximum, you can use your reaction to make an unarmed attack.

Alpha Presence

Starting at 14th level, whenever you deal damage or succeed on an ability check or saving throw that uses Strength or Constitution, you can use your reaction to attempt to frighten a creature within 30 feet of you that can see or hear you. The creature must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier) or be frightened until the end of your next turn. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your rage damage bonus, and you regain all uses at the end of a long rest.
