Monk
Base Class: Monk

You chose movement over stillness. Your power builds with every step—and breaks when pushed too far.

The Ruckus

3rd-Level Way of No Peace Feature

Reckless Charges. If you move at least 5 feet on your turn, you gain 1 Reckless Charge at the end of that turn. You can have a maximum number of Reckless Charges equal to your proficiency bonus.

When you spend a Focus Point to use a Monk feature, you can expend Reckless Charges (no action required). Once per turn, one creature affected by that feature takes additional lightning damage equal to one roll of your Martial Arts die per Reckless Charge spent.

Overcharge. When you expend more than half your maximum Reckless Charges at once, each creature within 10 ft. makes a Dexterity save against your Monk save DC. Failure: lightning damage equal to one Martial Arts die roll per Reckless Charge spent. Success: no damage. You take lightning damage equal to the Reckless Charges spent.

The Method

6th-Level Way of No Peace Feature

When you hit a creature with an Unarmed Strike, you can move up to 5 feet without provoking opportunity attacks.

Rekahook. As an action, choose one creature you can see within 15 feet of you. The target must succeed on a Strength saving throw against your Monk save DC or be pulled up to 10 feet straight toward you. If this pull brings the target within 5 feet of you, it takes lightning damage equal to two rolls of your Martial Arts die. This damage increases to three rolls of your Martial Arts die at monk level 11, and four rolls at monk level 17.

The R.M.

11th-Level Way of No Peace Feature

When you take the Attack action, you can spend 2 Focus Points to force each creature of your choice within 5 feet of you to make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, a creature takes lightning damage equal to two rolls of your Martial Arts die + your Dexterity modifier. On a success, it takes half damage.

You can expend Reckless Charges to increase this damage, adding one Martial Arts die per Reckless Charge.

Your lightning damage ignores resistance, and immunity is treated as resistance.

The Flow

17th-Level Way of No Peace Feature

Rekachain. As an action, choose one creature you can see within 150 feet of you. Lightning arcs from that target to up to three other creatures of your choice that you can see within 30 feet of the first target. Each target must make a Dexterity saving throw against your Monk save DC. On a failed save, a target takes 10d8 lightning damage. On a successful save, it takes half as much damage. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
