Base Class: Bard
College of the Heavens Bards are known for their peerless musical talents and flirtatious yet tame discussions of sensitive material. As such the most famous of this college's bards have become personal messengers of the gods themselves. Bards of the College of the Heavens study the epics of times past, and crafting songs that shall live on for centuries. Audiences who attend these bards' performances are known to leave with lightened spirits.
These bards often don't get patronages from nobles, but are brought to entertain at religious festivals or earn patronage from the gods allowing the bard to freely perform in all regions who worship their patron gods.
Bonus Proficiencies
When you join the College of the Heavens at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with religion and one other skill of your choice. Additionally, you are making a religion check you may choose to add your charisma modifier instead of your intelligence modifier.
Soothing Lyrics
Also at 3rd level, you learn how to use your music to turn an ally's failure into respite. As a reaction, when an ally that you can see within 30ft uses a bardic inspiration die that you gave them on one of their rolls, and they fail that roll, you may heal them up to the amount they rolled on the bardic inspiration die.
Hymn of Solace
At 6th level, your songs have reached the gods themselves and they have watch over your exploits with their holy magic. You learn three spells of first level or higher from the cleric list. A spell you choose must be of a level you can cast, as shown on the Bard table. The chosen spells count as bard spells for you but don’t count against the number of bard spells you know.
When you cast one of these spells you may use your bonus action to heal yourself or an ally the spell affects equal to twice the spells level..
Chorus of Angels
When you cast a spell learned from Hymn of Solace, you may instead use your bonus action to heal yourself and allies within five feet of you equal to your bard level. You may use this a number of times equal to your charisma modifier (a minimum of once). You regain expended uses after finishing a long rest.
