Bard
Base Class: Bard

Inspired by Octopath Traveler

Level 3: 3rd-Level Feature: Dance of Inspiration

At 3rd level, your graceful performances empower allies and inspire greatness through the art of dance.

You gain proficiency in the Performance skill. If you already have proficiency, you instead gain Expertise in the skill.

Whenever you grant a creature a Bardic Inspiration die, choose one of the following dances:

  • Lion Dance. The creature adds the Bardic Inspiration die to the first weapon damage roll it makes before the inspiration expires.

  • Peacock Dance. The creature adds the Bardic Inspiration die to the first spell attack roll it makes, or to the saving throw DC of the first spell it casts, before the inspiration expires.

  • Panther Dance. The creature's walking speed increases by 10 feet until the Bardic Inspiration expires.

  • Mole Dance. The creature adds the Bardic Inspiration die to the first saving throw it makes before the inspiration expires.

You choose the dance when you grant the Bardic Inspiration die.

Level 6: 6th-Level Feature: Bewildering Performance

At 6th level, your mesmerizing movements can captivate both friend and foe.

Whenever you use Bardic Inspiration, you may also choose one creature of your choice within 30 feet of you that can see you. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your Spell Save DC or be Charmed by you until the start of your next turn.

Additionally, whenever a creature expends one of your Bardic Inspiration dice, it gains temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1).

Level 14: 14th-Level Feature: Sealticge's Finale

At 14th level, your dances reach legendary heights, allowing you to elevate an ally's abilities beyond their normal limits.

As a bonus action, you can choose one creature within 60 feet that can see or hear you. For 1 minute, the first spell or feature that creature uses which normally targets only one creature can instead target a second creature within range.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a Long Rest.

Additionally, whenever a creature benefits from one of your dances, it has advantage on the first saving throw it makes before the dance ends.
