Base Class: Fighter
Invocation Warriors combine their mastery of martial prowess with the powers of Eldritch Patrons to enhance their power in combat.
Pact Magic
Through your dreams, you have formed a pact with a mysterious entity to gain magic. It has a concrete boon to you, the ability to cast spells.
Cantrips. You know two cantrips of your choice from the Warlock spell list (see that class for its list). Eldritch Blast and Chill Touch are recommended. Whenever you gain a Fighter level, you can replace one of your cantrips from this feature with another Warlock cantrip of your choice.
When you reach Fighter level 10, you learn another Warlock cantrip of your choice.
Spell Slots. You have 1 spell slot to cast your level 1-3 spells. You gain more spell slots at certain levels, all of which are the same level. You regain all expended Pact Magic spell slots on a Short or Long Rest. You gain an extra spell slot at level 6 and 15. The slot level increases to 2 at level 7, and to 3 at level 13.
Prepared Spells of Level 1+. You prepare the list of level 1+ spells that are available for you to cast with this feature. To start, choose two level 1 spells from the Warlock spell list. Armor of Agathys and Hex are recommended. You prepare an additional spell at levels 4, 7, 11, 14, 18, and 20.
The number of spells on your list increases as you gain Fighter levels, as shown in the Prepared Spells column of the Invocation Warrior Pact Magic Table. Whenever that number increases, choose additional spells from the Warlock spell list until the number of spells on your list matches the number on the table. The chosen spells must be of a level no higher than what your highest slot level is. If another feature gives you spells that you always have prepared, those spells don't count against the number of spells you can prepare with this feature, but those spells otherwise count as Warlock spells for you.
Changing Your Prepared Spells. Whenever you gain a Fighter level, you can replace one spell on your list with another Warlock spell of an eligible level.
Spellcasting Ability. Charisma is the spellcasting ability for your Warlock spells.
Spellcasting Focus. You can use an Arcane Focus as a Spellcasting Focus for your Warlock spells.
Eldritch Invocations
If an invocation has a prerequisite, you must meet it before you can learn the invocation. When you reach certain Fighter levels, you gain an additional invocation of your choice, at levels 7, 12, and 17.
Mystic Arcanum
Your patron grants you an arcanum. Choose one level 4 Warlock spell as this arcanum. You can cast your arcanum spell once without expending a spell slot, and must finish a long rest before you can cast in in this way again. Whenever you gain a Fighter level, you can replace your arcanum spell with another level 4 Warlock spell.
Pact Magic Expert
At the end of a long rest, choose one of these abilities. You can use it as a Bonus Action on your turn or as a Reaction to using your last pact magic spell slot.
Blood Exchange: You take 4d6 Necrotic damage, ignoring any resistances or immunities you have, and regain one Pact Magic spell slot.
Expend Arcanum: You can expend your use of Mystic Arcanum and regain all Pact Magic spell slots.
Expend Invocation: You lose all benefits of an Eldritch Invocation you haven't expended yet and gain 1 Pact Magic spell slot. If you expend your last invocation, you take 6d6 Necrotic Damage, ignoring resistance and immunity. Whenever you finish a long rest, you lose any bonus spell slots and regain the benefits of the Eldritch Invocations.
Whenever you finish a long rest, you can choose a different ability and use that one instead.
Pact Boon
Choose Pact of The Blade, Pact of the Chain, or Pact of the Tome. You gain its benefits and a few other benefits.
Pact of the Blade. You gain Pact of the Blade and Eldritch Smite, regardless of prerequisites, and they don't count against your number of invocations. You always have Hex prepared. At level 10, you gain Life Drinker, and at level 15, you can cast Hex without a spell slot or concentration as if it were cast at 4th level 1/long rest. At level 20, whenever you roll initiative, you gain 2 Eldritch Charges, which you can use to activate Eldritch Smite without expending a Pact Magic spell slot. You can only have two at a time. Your maximum HP increases by 20.
Pact of the Chain. You gain Pact of the Chain and Investment of the Chain Master, regardless of prerequisites, and they don't count against your number of invocations. Whenever your familiar deals Necrotic damage, you can use your reaction to deal an additional 1d8 Necrotic damage Cha Mod times per short rest. At level 10, whenever your familiar deals Radiant damage, you can use a Pact Magic spell slot to heal yourself or an ally you can see within 60ft of you for 3d8 + your Proficiency Bonus. At level 15, you can cast Summon Undead without a spell slot or material components 1/long rest as if it were cast at 4th level, and you always have it prepared. At level 20, the additional necrotic damage increases to 2d8 and you get two familiars from Find Familiar. You can command both of your familiars as part of the same bonus action.
Pact of the Tome. You gain Pact of the Tome and Gift of the Protectors, regardless of prerequisites, and they don't count against your number of invocations. You always have one 1st and 2nd level spell prepared from the Cleric, Warlock, or Wizard spell list. You can change these spells on a short rest. At level 10, you gain the level 3 features for one of three Wizard subclasses(your choice): Abjurer, Evoker, or Illusionist and treat them as if two less than half of your Fighter levels were Wizard Levels and use Charisma instead of Intelligence for just those features. At level 15, you can cast a Warlock or Wizard spell of up to 4th level without a spell slot 1/long rest. At level 20, you gain the 6th and 10th level features of that subclass.
You can't replace any invocations obtained from this feature with other invocations. Whenever you gain a Fighter level, you can change your Pact Boon choice.
