Base Class: Barbarian
The Path of the Inferno is one walked by many, without knowledge of ever doing so. Deep-seated hatred gives way to the path of devils, of blind vengeance, of the blazing inferno of the nine hells. Those who walk this path find it difficult to turn back as the temptations of revenge break even the most strongest of wills. Though, the path of unrelenting anger doesn’t just pave itself. Through unholy intervention, malevolent beings use the irresistible pull of revenge to make the ultimate weapon of destruction, hidden in a cloak of false promises. Be wary of the path of no return.
Fire Wielder
Starting at 3rd level, your burning rage flows into your weapons. When raging, you may choose to ignite weapons you are wielding into flames. Ignited weapons, at the very base level, deal an additional 1d6 fire damage. When your rage ends, ignited weapons return to their original state.
Blind Vengeance
Starting at 6th level, your rage allows you to retaliate with a vicious attack, albeit inaccurately. When raging, you may make one counterattack reaction to any attacker within melee range at a disadvantage. If the attack lands, you may make one additional dice roll to the damage.
Feed the Flames
Starting at the 10th level, your rage allows you to gain resistance from cold and fire damage. Additionally, when hit with a fire damaging attack, spell or ability, you heal yourself an amount equal to your current level as the burning hatred inside you devours the flame for sustenance.
Upon reaching level 16, your inner fire consumes most elements. Lightning and poison are also resisted.
Hellfire
Starting at the 14th level, your rage allows you to ignore a creature's fire resistance, if any. When making an ignited weapon attack at a creature with a resistance to fire, that creature still takes full damage. Should the creature be completely immune to fire damage, it instead takes half damage.
Judge, Jury and Retribution
Starting at 16th level, your rage causes you to forget your real enemy and you focus on those in front of you. Whenever a non-magical attack hits you, the attacker becomes marked with Retribution. You hone in on these targets, causing your attacks against them to deal an additional dice roll.
