Base Class: Monk
Iaijutsu is the martial art of drawing a weapon (almost always a katana) and attacking with it in the same fluid motion. It is the foundation of some forms of dueling, and its masters are feared and respected throughout lands where iaijutsu is practiced. Iaijutsu masters harness their ki energy to strike with blinding speed and devastating power.
The Art without Art
At 3rd leveI, you gain proficiency with the katana (longsword) and is trated as a monk weapon. You can only choose a katana as a companion weapon, in order to use the benefits and features granted from this tradition.
You learn a ritual that creates a magical bond between yourself and the katana. You perform the ritual over the course of I hour, which can be done during a short rest. The weapon must be within your reach throughout the ritual, at the conclusion of which you touch the katana and forge the bond. Once you have bonded a weapon to yourself, you can't be disarmed of that katana unless you are incapacitated.
The katana ceases being your companion weapon if you die, if you perform the l hour ritual on a different weapon, or if you use a l hour ritual to break your bond to it.
Spring Bloom
Always on the lookout for danger, at 6th level you gain the following bonuses
- You gain a +5 bonus to initiative.
- You can't be surprised while you are conscious.
- Other creatures don’t gain advantage on attack rolls against you as a result of being unseen by you.
Raijin's Stride
Your intense training and sharp senses, allows you to move with unmatched speed. You run so quickly, that you seem to blur out of existence for a split second before reappearing blade in hand. Beginning at 11th level, once per turn when you take the Attack action, you can expend 2 Ki to teleport up to 30 feet as part of the same action, right before making the attack.
This strike suddenly leaves your target unprepared for the incoming blow, granting you advantage on the attack roll, and dealing 2d6 additional weapon damage.
You must be able to attack immediately after teleporting, in order to get these bonuses.
Serenity

No time passes for other creatures, and for all purposes they’re considered Unconscious, except that they don’t drop their holdings, don’t fall prone automatically and can’t be moved. In in this turn you can only take an Attack Action and move a distance up to your speed and. You decide whether to move before, during or after your attacks as usual. You can use this feature once per short rest.
