Bard
Base Class: Bard

A divine performer who commands a troupe of supernatural companions, manipulates Fanfare, supports allies, and turns the battlefield into a grand theatrical performance.

Level 3: Salon Solitaire

As a Bonus Action, you summon either Salon Solitaire or the Singer of Many Waters. If one is already summoned, it disappears when you summon the other.

Salon Solitaire

You summon Crabaletta, Chevalmarin, and Usher in unoccupied spaces within 30 feet of you. They remain for 10 minutes, until you dismiss them, or until you summon the Singer of Many Waters.

As a Bonus Action, you command all three members to attack. Each can target a creature within 30 feet of you, and they can target the same creature or different creatures. All attacks deal Cold damage and use your spell save DC.

Crabaletta. The target makes a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, it takes 1d8 Cold damage and is pushed 10 feet away from you. On a successful save, it takes half damage and isn't pushed.

Chevalmarin. The target makes a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, it takes 1d6 Cold damage and its Speed is reduced by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. On a successful save, it takes half damage and suffers no reduction to its Speed.

Usher. The target makes a Strength saving throw. On a failed save, it takes 1d6 Cold damage and has the Prone condition. On a successful save, it takes half damage and isn't knocked Prone.

Singer of Many Waters

When summoned, you place the Singer of Many Waters in an unoccupied space within 20 feet of you. It remains for 10 minutes, until you dismiss it, or until you summon Salon Solitaire.

As a Bonus Action, you command the Singer to restore the vitality of one creature within 10ft of it. That creature regains 1d8 + your charisma modifier Hit Points.

Level 3: Divine Performer

Your performances draw upon divine magic, allowing you to incorporate sacred miracles into your repertoire.

  • Choose one cantrip from the Cleric spell list.
  • Choose two 1st lvl spells from either the Cleric or Paladin spell list.
  • Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
  • You can cast each of your chosen 1st-level spells once without spending a spell slot, regaining the ability to do so when you finish a Long Rest.
  • Whenever you finish a Long Rest, you may replace your chosen cantrip and any or all of your chosen spells with other eligible spells.

Expanded Spell List. When you learn a Bard spell, you can choose the spell from the Bard, Cleric, or Paladin spell list.

Level 6: Let the People Rejoice!

As a Bonus Action, you unleash Let the People Rejoice!, beginning a grand performance that lasts for 5 minutes. When you activate it, friendly creatures of your choice within 30 feet of you gain Temporary Hit Points equal to your Bard level + your Charisma modifier.

While the performance lasts, you gain 1 Fanfare whenever a creature fails a saving throw against one of your Salon members' abilities, or whenever the Singer of Many Waters restores Hit Points to a creature.

You can have a maximum of 9 Fanfare.

Your allies within 30 feet of you gain benefits based on your Fanfare:

3 Fanfare — The People Rejoice.
Your allies gain a +1 bonus to attack rolls and saving throws.

6 Fanfare — A Joyous Celebration.
The bonus increases to +2. In addition, whenever an affected ally takes damage, they can use their Reaction to reduce the damage by 1d8 + your Charisma modifier.

9 Fanfare — Let the People Rejoice!
The bonus increases to +3. In addition, whenever an affected ally would be reduced to 0 Hit Points, they can instead drop to 1 Hit Point. Once a creature benefits from this effect, it cannot benefit from it again until the performance ends.

When you reach 9 Fanfare, each affected ally also regains 2d8 + your Charisma modifier Hit Points.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a Long Rest, unless you expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration to use it again.

Level 14: The Grand Salon

You can now summon Salon Solitaire and the Singer of Many Waters at the same time.

When you use a Bonus Action to command Salon Solitaire, you may also command the Singer as part of the same Bonus Action. Likewise, when you command the Singer, you may command the Salon at the same time.

In addition, when a Salon member causes a creature to fail its saving throw, or when the Singer restores Hit Points, you gain 1 additional Fanfare while Let the People Rejoice! is active.
