Base Class: Rogue
Clan Eshin is famed for uncanny stealth, for employing a variety of unusual and exotic weapons, and for its ability to kill swiftly and efficiently. Even the lowliest Clan Eshin warriors, the Night Runners, have some rudimentary skill at subterfuge, being able to move quickly and quietly to strike at the hearts of their enemies.
Those who survive and learn the greater techniques of the Art of Silent Death are promoted to Gutter Runners, who can sneak behind enemy lines and slaughter entire units of enemies, unseen and unheard.
Of all of Clan Eshin's warriors, though, the assassins are the most feared and reviled. These Skaven are masters in all of the techniques learned in distant Cathay and bring to bear an incredible array of fighting techniques that allow them to eclipse the greatest human killers.
Using a host of weapons from the throwing star and blowgun to the repeating crossbow and an arsenal of poisons, these dealers of death are blamed for the majority of suspicious murders in both Skaven and Dwarf societies, not to mention those untimely deaths in the human lands by those who do not deny the Skaven menace.
Gutter Runner Bound-Leap
As a bonus action, you can leap in any direction so long as you have a foothold on where you are bounding from. The distance traveled is your move speed and you can land on a target so long as you take an action to do so. Whether or not you land on them safely is calculated by an acrobatics check vs a contesting strength save.
Main-Assassinate
You’re adept at ambushing a target, granting you the following benefits.
Initiative. You have Advantage on Initiative rolls.
Surprising Strikes. During the first round of each combat, you have Advantage on attack rolls against any creature that hasn't taken a turn. If your Sneak Attack hits any target during that round, the target takes extra damage of the weapon's type equal to your Rogue level.
Clever-Cunning Poisons
You gain a Poisoner's Kit and Proficiency with it.
From The Shadows, We Go-Go
When concealed by dim light or total darkness and you enter stealth, you are functionally invisible. Gain mastery in Stealth and roll with advantage when in dim light or total darkness.
More-More Poison!
Gain Expertise with Poisoner's Kit and any attack with an envenomed or poisoned weapon is rolled with advantage. Poison damage dealt with this deals 3d6 Poison damage and ignores Poison resistance.
Cut-Slit The Throat-Throat!
When you hit your Sneak Attack on the first round of combat, the target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus your Dexterity Modifier and Proficiency Bonus) or the attack deals double max damage.
