Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

The Crusader is a paragon of self sacrifice and vigilance, willing to go to any necessary length to ensure that the will of their divine master is fulfilled, and that nothing abhorrent should insult the divine by existing where it ought not to. They are often absolutest, seeing only in the black and white painted by their god. It is their calling to serve at any cost to themselves and the unfaithful. Of course, those faithful who are not powerful enough to defend themselves are the Crusader's responsibility as well. That said, no calling is greater than that of purification.

Tenets of the Crusade

Purity. All things which exist must be pleasing to those with divine privilege. If something falls short, it must not be suffered to remain.

Vigilance. Truth and purity are endlessly under siege by those who have reason to warp and distort them. At any moment, the faithful must be ready and willing to take up the sword in the name of purification.

Discipline. The divine's will must always take precedent, and the faithful's sensibilities must be second to those of his master's. If the faithful is asked to move, he moves. If he is asked to kill, he kills.

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.

Purifying Blade - As an action, you can bless a melee weapon you are currently holding. You may choose use your Charisma modifier for that weapon's attack and damage rolls in place of the required ability. The weapon remains blessed for 12 hours, or until a long rest, and the weapon damage type changes to Radiant for the duration. Additionally, while blessed, a weapon may be summoned to the wielder's open hand as a bonus action, as long as it is on the same plane of existence as the wielder or in a pocket dimension--such as a bag of holding--where the wielder placed it.

Relentless Purification - For 10 minutes, you may teleport up to 10 feet before each attack you make.

Starting at 7th level, you are surrounded by a holy aura. When you or an ally take damage from a creature within this aura, you may use your reaction to point your finger, and the creature that damaged you is momentarily surrounded by radiant sunlight. The creature must make a Dexterity saving throw. It takes 2d10 radiant damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.

Zealous Vitality

Starting at 15th level, when you deal radiant damage, you gain that amount of temporary hitpoints.

Sword of the Gods

At 20th level, once per long rest, as an action, you can transform for 1 hour to gain the following benefits:

You lift a foot off of the ground, doubling your movement speed and ignoring difficult terrain for the duration.

Additionally, during this time you use your bonus action to make the attack action.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
