Mind Mage

Mind Mages focus on surveying the minds of others without being noticed, often using their talents to gather useful information.

Level 3: Awakened Mind

You have Telepathy with a range of 60 feet and can create a link with a number of targets equal to your intelligence modifier as a bonus action.

Level 6: Prodigious Clairvoyance

You ignore resistance to Psychic damage, and can use your Mental Subterfuge feature a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier, and you regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest. Additionally, the range of your Telepathy and Detect thoughts increases to 120 feet and Detect thoughts requires only a bonus action to activate. Finally, whenever you cast a spell against a target that requires you to see the target, you ignore this quality if they are within range of your Telepathy.

Level 10: Psychic Overload

Once per turn, when you deal psychic damage to a creature or read its thoughts with a spell, you can impose one of the following effects (your choice):

• The creature has disadvantage on its next saving throw.

• The creature is vulnerable to psychic damage until the start of their next turn.

Mental Mastery

As a bonus action, choose a creature within range of your Telepathy. The creature must make an Intelligence saving throw, which they make with disadvantage. On a failure you gain advantage on spell attacks against that creature, and the creature has disadvantage on attacks against you.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier per long rest.

Additionally, when you roll initiative and have no more uses of Mental Subterfuge, you regain 1 use.

Level 3: Mental Subterfuge

You always have the Detect Thoughts spell prepared and can cast it once without expending a spell slot per long rest. Whenever you cast the spell in this way, you can modify it so that it doesn't require concentration and when you use the Read Thoughts effect of the spell, the target doesn’t know you’re probing its mind if it fails the Wisdom saving throw.
