Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

You are a person exemplifying the term day and night. For a time you are the perfect noble, behaviorally acceptable, charismatic, and well groomed. Then you get angry, tossing aside all that education, etiquette, and charm. Whether you are currently of nobility or it is something of your ancestry or previous life, your natural talent for losing your temper comes to life in this barbarian path.

Proper Etiquette

At third level. You have advantage on Performance and Persuasion checks.

Additionally, you gain a Lady/Lord-in-waiting. They know two of your languages plus one additional language you do not know. While this person cannot enter combat, they perform tasks such as tending your wardrobe, mount, or quarters, and handling transactions at the market. If they must make an ability check, their score is 10 + your Proficiency bonus. (This replaces the retainers from the Noble/Knight background variants).

Improper Etiquette

Also at third level. When you enter your rage, your civility vanishes. While raging, your Charisma score is temporarily reduced by half (rounded up). On the first successful attack against a target per round you gain a bonus to damage dealt on melee weapon attacks equal to the amount your score was reduced to (12-Half=6). This damage is considered magical and shares your weapon damage type(s).

Elegant Vulgarity

At 6th level. While you are raging, you gain Expertise in Performance and Persuasion, additionally, your rage no longer ends until your time expires, and cannot be ended early.

While raging, you can use a bonus an amount of time equal to your Proficiency Bonus per long rest to shout a vulgarity at a targeted foe within 60ft. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + Prof + un-reduced CHA mod), On a failure, they are “daunted” and must use their movement on their next turn to get into melee range with you. Additionally, the target has disadvantage on any other target but you. This is considered forced movement and does not provoke opportunity attacks.

Pompous

At 10th level. A number of times equal to your Proficiency bonus per long rest, at any point after taking damage you may use your reaction to restore hitpoints equal to one roll of a hitdie (which this effect consumes).
While raging, you may add your proficiency bonus to the first attack that hits you each turn, potentially causing a hit to miss.

Diadem

At 14th level. While you are raging, a bejeweled crown appears on your head, visually replacing any other headwear. Your previous features are improved:

Improper Etiquette: If you make a melee attack and miss, the intended target still take the Improper Etiquette damage.

Elegant Vulgarity: Your allies within may now choose to be affected by this effect becoming “Dauntless”, while dauntless they gain 30ft of movement and no longer provoke opportunity attacks as long as they are moving towards you.

Pompous: The first hit you take after using your Pompous reaction resists all damage.

Additionally, when you reach level 20 and gain the class feature Primal Champion, In addition to the normal effect of Primal Champion, your Charisma score increases by 4 and your maximum for Charisma is now 24.
