Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

Wizards who claim the title Taskmages are the utilitarians of the magic world.  They understand that magic is a tool, and true craftsmen must master a variety of tools.  They focus on learning spells for every occasion and knowing exactly when and how to apply them.  They are problem solvers and live savers, ready when you need them most.

Bag of Tricks

When you choose this school at 2nd level, you learn two of the following cantrips: Resistance, Guidance, Produce Flame, or Spare the Dying.  You also learn one of the following spells: Create or Destroy Water, Detect Poison and Disease, Goodberry, or Speak with Animals.  These spells count as Wizard spells for you.

Magical Reserves

Beginning at 6th level, you learn to more tightly focus your spellcasting, keeping power in reserve when you can, in case its needed. Whenever you cast a spell of 2nd level or higher that does not require you or another creature to roll any dice, such as a spell attack, damage, or saving throw roll, you regain an expended spell slot. The slot you regain must be of a level lower than the spell you cast and can't be higher than 2nd level.

Quick Study

Beginning at 10th level,  whenever you use your Arcane Recovery ability, you recover an additional 1st level spell slot and can switch out up to two spells you have prepared.  Additionally you learn one of the following spells:  Animal Messenger, Enhance Ability, Find Traps, or Silence.  These spells count as wizard spells for you.

Mage for All Seasons

Beginning at 14th level, you have learned to expand your mind and its ability to retain information from your spellbook, ensuring always have what you need at hand.   You learn two additional cantrips from either the Wizard Cantrip list or the list of cantrips you chose from at your 2nd wizard level.  Additionally the number of spells you can prepare each day increases by half your wizard level, rounded up.
