Base Class: Blood Hunter (archived)
Twilight Warriors train to slay their foes to continue fighting on, and standing on even in the face of grim defeat. The Hunter's Bane empowers Twilight Warriors to see into their foes' souls and counter tactics in the better or worst.
Life Siphon
When you select this subclass at 3rd level, you gain the power to drain a target's life force from them as you strike them. When you reduce a hostile creature of significant threat (DM's discretion) to 0 hit points, you regain hit points equal to your crimson rite die+your Wisdom modifier. Additionally, when you land a critical hit with a weapon attack, you gain temporary hit points equal to half your blood hunter level.
Vitality Expertise
Beginning at 3rd level, you can cause others' injuries to instead be afflicted onto you. When a creature you can see within 30 feet takes damage, as a reaction you may halve the damage they suffer, and you take an equal amount of damage they suffered. You may use this feature as many times as your Wisdom modifier, and regain all expended uses after a long rest.
Additionally, you gain advantage on saving throws against poison and disease.
Linked Souls
Beginning at 7th level, you automatically gain the Blood Curse of Mutual Suffering, and it does not count against your total number of Blood Curses known. When you use the Blood Curse of Mutual Suffering, it has a range of 60 feet and applies to any damage, not just from weapon attacks.
Rite of Dusk
When you reach 11th level, you automatically learn the Rite of the Dead, and it does not count against your number of Crimson Rites. The damage you take from activating it is halved. Additionally, weapon attacks made bearing the Rite of the Dead count score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20.
Visitor at Death's Door
You are accustomed to the feeling of hopelessness and death. When you reach 15th level, upon falling below one fourth of your maximum hit points, you may add your Wisdom modifier to your AC and all saving throws.
Twilight Mastery
Upon reaching 18th level, you have mastered the technique of the Order of the Twilight. As a bonus action, you may expend one use of your Blood Maledict feature to gain advantage on all attack rolls for the next minute. During this time, attacks of opportunity made against you are made at disadvantage and you have blindsight out to a radius of 30 feet. After this minute passes, you immediately suffer one level of exhaustion.
