Base Class: Gunslinger
This class focuses on using the two handed heavy guns to their full potential. You may be slow but you are strong and carrying a big gun. There will be few who will oppose you.
Big guns are your tools. You've yet to see anything counter spell a machine gun spewing 15 rounds per min
I made this because i like big guns and i feel like the current subclasses doesn't maximize the big gun mentality. I tried to make this so everything in a direction you're shooting at is gone. This is my attempts at a subclass made from scratch. If theres any improvement I can make, feel free to comment below.
Thank you
[Lvl 3] Big Gun, Steady Aim
If you're proficient with a weapon that uses the Automatic Mastery, you can spend a risk die (as a free action) to turn the Disadvantage on attack rolls into normal attack rolls when using the Automatic Mastery[Manuver]
If you're proficient with a Cannon and use the Explode mastery, you can spend a Risk die (as a free action) to give the target and creatures surround them disadvantage on their Dexterity saving throw. [Manuver]
You can now use any weapon with the Heavy or Two Handed properties to melee attack your enemies using your risk die plus your STR on a successful attack roll as a bonus action. On a successful attack roll with this ability, the if the target is large or smaller, they must make a DEX saving throw (8+PROF+STR) on a failure, the target is pushed back 10ft. [Manuver]
[Lvl 3] Biceps help my Aim
When you attack with a ranged weapon you are proficient with and it has the Heavy property or Two-handed property, you can use your Strength for your attack rolls instead of Dexterity. You can also add your Strength to your damage rolls with weapons that has the heavy property.
For any Manuver you use that requires a saving throw, you can use your STR instead of DEX when calculating saving throws (ex. All saving throw Manuver require are 8+PROF+STR)
You also gain proficiency in Heavy Armor
[Lvl 6] They are dead. No big Surprise.
The butt of your gun now hits harder.
If you're proficient with a Heavy or a Two Handed weapon, as a bonus action, you can spend a Risk die to melee attack with the butt of the weapon using your STR the attack roll and 2 Risk die plus your Str for the damage roll. On a successful hit, the target can make a Constitution saving throw (8+PROF+STR) or have the stunned condition for the turn [Manuver]
If you would have disadvantage on a Ranged attack roll with a Heavy Weapon or a Two Handed weapon, you can turn it to a normal ranged attack roll as a free action and add your risk die to the attack roll as well. Your movement speed is reduced to 0 after using this ability. [Manuver]
[Lvl 10] Bitches Love Cannons
You can now trickshot with your Cannon.
On a successful attack roll, you can use your reaction to spend a Risk die to cause the cannon ball to not explode instead to deal 2d6+STR+Risk Die Bludgeoning damage to the first target then to a second target on a successful Ranged attack roll dealing original damage and effects. [Manuver]
Once per long rest, you can choose one weapon with the Heavy or Two Handed property to apply the Explosive weapon mastery. You can use the Explosive weapon mastery along with the chosen weapons mastery (Explosive+Scatter or Explosive+Automatic etc). The Explosive Weapon mastery can only be used once per long rest on the chosen weapon.
you cannot apply the Explosive weapon mastery on a Heavy or Two Handed weapon that already has it.
[Lvl 14] Sexual Tyrannosaurus
You can turn your Gatling Gun into a force to be reckoned with
As a bonus action, you can spend a Risk Die to fire your Gatling gun in a 60ft cone or a 120ft line by 5ft. Each creature in that area must make a DEX saving throw (8+PROF+STR). On a failed save a creature takes 8d6 piercing damage and half as much on a successful save. After using this class feature you gain 1 level of exhaustion
Once per long rest, you can choose one weapon with the Heavy or Two Handed property to apply the Automatic weapon mastery. You can use the Automatic weapon mastery along with the chosen weapons mastery (Automatic+Scatter or Automatic+Explosive etc). The Automatic Weapon mastery can only be used once per long rest on the chosen weapon.
you cannot apply the Automatic weapon mastery on a Heavy or Two Handed weapon that already has it.
