Base Class: Bard
This is a powerful class in role play heavy campaigns. It allows you to calm raging foes, and sometimes outright end a combat encounter. This class would not be welcome in a combat heavy group, as using Diplomancy on the battlefield to end combat might severely irritate your bloodthirtsy allies.
Calm Down
Once per day, as an action, you may force a creature that is raging or berserk to make a Charisma saving throw. [DC 10+CHA+PROF] on a failed save, their rage/berserk status ends.
Diplomancy
Once per day, you may cast Diplomancy. All creatures within a 120 ft radius, including allies, must make a Charisma saving throw. [DC 10+CHA+PROF] On a failed save, they become intangible for 10 minutes. Despite being intangible, they are still visible, and still able to talk out their problems. They are unable to attack or be attacked during this time. Creatures whose CR is higher than your level are immune to this effect.
Peace Nuke
Stomp your foot on the ground and shout "Enough!". All hostile enemy creatures within a 300 ft radius must make a Charisma saving throw. [DC 10+CHA+PROF] On a successful save, they take 6d6 psychic damage, with no save against damage. on a failed save, they fall unconscious, and take no damage. They are unconscious for 8 hours, until they take damage, or until a someone spends an action to wake them up. Creatures whose CR is higher than your level are immune to this effect, and simply take damage with no save.

Posted Jan 10, 2020In this campaign I'm doing (storm lord's wrath) said green dragon is one 4 companion NPCs with him. The only reason said dragon isn't going to do anything evil, is because the dragon (VenomFang) is madly in love with the other npc, a oath of heroism Paladin.

Posted Jan 10, 2020nope. I based made it for one of my players, who was tired of the level 3 party trying to death-charge dragons.

Posted Jan 10, 2020Too bad I'm not subscribed right now. I love the bard class, and I'd be using this for my character/NPC. Did you based this on the unearthed Arcana bard subclass?

Posted Jan 8, 2020Calm Down is given at level 3. Diplomacy is given at level 6. Peace nuke is given at level 14. I admit it's a bit broken, but it's more for a fun high level one shot than an ongoing campaign. It's a way to quickly end combat in a role play heavy game setting.
edit: if you meant the level cap or creatures you can effect, it's any creature who's CR is equal to your character level or lower. So if you want the player to not use the ability, put them against a boss one CR above their level, and it's useless. Keep in mind, all these abilities are once a days, so you could also front-load an early encounter with a lot of weak enemies, force them to use it, then continue the rest of the dungeon as intended.
