Base Class: Monk

The Tradition believes in the life of the desert, the harsh winds, harsh heat and a sun that threatens to burn everything. Most if not all of the Monks from this order tend to keep their selves close to the desert lands, and all the Temples of this Order can only be found in the dept of any desert. It is the orders entrance exam, a rite of passage before being accept into the order to train. You are taught to harness the power of the sands and winds, along with the scorching sun. In that the order finds solace and wisdom in the unyielding harshness and fury of nature.

Almost every monk that follows this tradition are changed physically and their Demeanor tends to change greatly also. Many times; after the harsh training environments, they come out of it with a blase and stand offish attitude to life. Most of the monks will not burden themselves with helping someone carry something heavy or help in an obviously hard labor task, to them they must complete it with out help. Often times, older monks tend to have leathery skin that is browned form long exposures to the sun and sand. 

Blessing of the Dervish

At 3rd Level, Through intense training the Dervishes learn to use a Scimitar as an extension of their own body. becoming deadly with them you gain the proficiency in Scimitar, and they are treated as an unarmed strike when using them. You also gain a fighting style.

Dueling

When you are wielding a melee weapon in one hand and no other weapons, you gain a +2 bonus to damage rolls with that weapon.

Great Weapon Fighting

When you roll a 1 or 2 on a damage die for an attack you make with a melee weapon that you are wielding with two hands, you can reroll the die and must use the new roll, even if the new roll is a 1 or a 2. The weapon must have the two-handed or versatile property for you to gain this benefit.

Protection

When a creature you can see attacks a target other than you that is within 5 feet of you, you can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll. You must be wielding a shield.

Two Weapon Fighting

When you engage in two-weapon fighting, you can add your ability modifier to the damage of the second attack.

Flowing Flurry

Starting at 3rd Level, the Dervish has become deadly when he uses his flurry of blows. As sand swells around you the mini sand storm moves around you teleportation you from target to target, you must end your turn in your original starting spot. When activating your Flurry of blows you may also attack any target with in 10 feet of you. You do not provoke Opportunity Attacks on these strikes. 

At level 12 you are allowed to do this with any attack you make not just flurry of Blows. 

Body of the sun

Starting at 6th level, you have learn how to harness the harshness of the sun. Your skin has grown exceptionally leathery and tough you have become Resistant to Fire damage. You also have discovered the ability to blind your foes with the radiance of the Sun. You replace Stunning Strike with Blinding Strike. Blinding Strike works the Same as Stunning, instead of [Tooltip Not Found] you [Condition]Blind[/Blind]. 

Flowing Sands

Starting at 11th Level, The Dervish can now become part of the nature that forged them. As a bonus Action, if the Dervish is on Sand they double their unarmored Movement. If they are not on sand they may intact the wind and become incorporeal for a short amount of time, allowing you to move up to Half your Movement while Incorporeal. You do not provoke opportunity attacks while incorporeal. You may do this 2/ day per a short rest. 

Desert Warlord

Starting at 17th Level, the Dervish now is truly a frightening force of the battle field. If you kill a target at the end of your attack you may attack one more time. When Using this feature you may use Flurry of Blows as many times as you have Ki to spend so long as you hit on your last Attack. While you are under the effects of the Desert Warlord you lose the benefits of your Unarmored Defense, until the being of your next turn. After using this Feature you may not do it again until after a long rest.
