A Warforged Vanguard serves as a paragon of Warforged-kind, mastering orderly combat techniques and integrating equipment into their bodies.
Features by Level:
- Level 3: Integrated Armaments, Constructed Might
- Level 7: Armored Slam
- Level 10: Parrying Limb
- Level 15: Unmoving Juggernaut
- Level 18: War Machine
Level 3: Integrated Armaments
You can integrate certain types of equipment into your body. During a Long Rest, you can fuse a shield or one-handed melee weapon into your limbs. An integrated shield requires no hand to wield and cannot be disarmed. An integrated weapon cannot be disarmed and can be retracted or extended without any action. You can have up to two integrated weapons and one integrated shield, an integrated weapon being a part of one of your arms and a shield being built into the side of one of your arms.
Level 3: Constructed Might
You gain the following benefits:
- Full Construct Resilience: You gain immunity to nonmagical Poison damage and the Poisoned condition.
- Metallic Strength: You gain advantage on Athletics checks, and you have the carrying capacity of a Large creature.
- Sturdy Form: You add your level to your maximum hit points.
Level 7: Armored Slam
While wearing armor, you can make an Armored Slam unarmed attack that deals 3d6 + your Strength modifier Bludgeoning damage, but you take 1d4 Bludgeoning damage each time you make this attack.
Level 10: Parrying Limb
You can parry attacks with your arms. As a reaction to taking damage, if you have an integrated shield, you can reduce the damage by an amount equal to your 2d6 + your Strength modifier.
Level 15: Unmoving Juggernaut
You cannot be pushed, pulled, or knocked prone. In addition, when a creature tries to forcefully move you, you can use a reaction to push the creature 5 feet away from you in a direction of your choosing.
Level 18: War Machine
You have advantage on attack rolls made with your integrated weapons, and you treat successful weapon attack rolls with integrated weapons as critical hits.
