Base Class: Bard
Bards of the College of the Fool, also known as Fools, Clowns, or Jesters, focus not only on inspiring allies, but on bringing down enemies with insults, belittlement, and mockery. They adventure and cause chaos in the name of the common folk, erasing corruption where it is found and bringing light to evil in the shadows.
Features by Level:
- Level 3: Improved Mockery, Reverse Inspiration
- Level 6: Clumsy Stumble
- Level 14: Fool's Luck
Level 3: Improved Mockery
When you cast the cantrip Vicious Mockery, you deal an additional 1d8 Psychic damage if the target fails the saving throw.
Level 3: Reverse Inspiration
When a creature within 60 feet of you attempts an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, you can use a reaction to spend a use of Bardic Inspiration and cause the target to subtract the amount rolled from the attack roll, ability check, or saving throw.
Level 6: Clumsy Stumble
You have advantage on Dexterity saving throws, and when you attempt a Dexterity saving throw, you can use a reaction to move up to 10 feet.
Level 6: Chaotic Belittlement
You can cast the spell Bane at will as a bonus action. When you do so, roll a d20. If you roll a 1 on the d20 roll, the spell's casting fails and it does nothing.
Level 14: Fool's Luck
You can apply Bardic Inspiration to yourself. In addition, as a reaction to taking damage, you can expend a Bardic Inspiration to reduce the damage by two times the amount rolled.
