Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians who walk the Path of the Invincible treat harm as something that happens to other people. Through relentless conditioning, stubborn will, or a gift that refuses to be argued with, they become a wall that spells, steel, and time alike fail to move. While others rage to destroy, these warriors rage to endure, and what they endure simply does not stick.

Unyielding Form

3rd-level Path of the Invincible feature

While you are raging, you have resistance to all damage, and you have advantage on all saving throws.

Your damage resistances can’t be bypassed. If you succeed on a saving throw against an effect, you are unaffected by that effect. You are immune to spells and magical effects that don’t require an ability check, a saving throw, or an attack roll, unless you wish to be affected.

You gain a bonus to your Armor Class equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of +1). You are immune to critical hits, disease, and to being poisoned. Any immunity you have can’t be bypassed.

Implacable Endurance

6th-level Path of the Invincible feature

If a damage roll against you would deal its maximum possible damage, that damage must be rerolled. Continue rerolling until the result is no longer the highest possible amount.

Your hit point maximum can’t be reduced. You can’t be prevented from regaining hit points, and you can’t gain disadvantage on saving throws.

In addition, if you fail a saving throw, you can choose to succeed instead. Once you use this benefit, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest. You can use this benefit twice between long rests at 10th level, and three times between long rests at 14th level.

Absolute Resistance

10th-level Path of the Invincible feature

You have resistance to all damage even while you aren’t raging. While you are raging, any damage you take is halved (rounded down) after all other modifiers, including resistance, are applied.

You also gain proficiency in all saving throws.

Eternal Bastion

14th-level Path of the Invincible feature

You gain a bonus to your saving throws equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of +1).

Once per long rest, when you enter your rage, you can choose to take no damage and to be unaffected by any effect that would cause you to take damage. This benefit lasts for 1 minute. If you are already raging, you can gain this benefit as a bonus action. This benefit is not immunity to damage, and any effect that would bypass immunity does not affect it.

You no longer age, can’t be aged, and can’t die of old age. You don’t need to eat, drink, sleep, or breathe, and you are immune to exhaustion.
