Base Class: Warlock
You have made a pact with a powerful dragon or a dragon-like entity. Such a being is often proud and arrogant, and expects nothing less than excellence from its agents in the world. Dragons who could form such a pact are most likely ancient in nature, and have long since retired themselves from the world as a whole. Conversely, dragon deities such as Quetzalcoatl, Bahamut, or draconic demons such as Tiamat, The Fury, or Nidhogg could seek out a mortal agent to fulfill tasks that they either cannot or will not handle themselves.
Expanded Spell List
The Wyrm lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.
Level 1: Burning Hands, Mage Armor
Level 2: Barkskin, Flaming Sphere
Level 3: Fireball, Lightning Bolt
Level 4: Ice Storm, Polymorph
Level 5: Cloudkill, Flame Strike
Dragonic Visage
Beginning at 1st level, you can call the visage of your patron dragon to briefly cover you in their likeness, terrifying your enemy as they know the wrathful stare of a dragon. As an action, you can target a creature within 30 feet that you can see and force it to make a Wisdom saving throw against your warlock spell save DC. If the creature fails their saving throw, they become frightened by you for 1 minute.
Once you use this feature you cannot use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
Elemental Fury
Starting at 6th level, as a bonus action, you can imbue a weapon within 10 feet with elemental power as the power of your patron begins to flow through your body more freely. Upon reaching this level, select one of the dragon colors as your dragon type. This determines your Elemental type going forward. once a dragon type is chosen, you cannot change the elemental properties of your power.
Red, Gold, or Brass: Fire
White or Silver: Cold
Blue or Bronze: Lightning
Black or Copper: Acid
Green: Poison
Based on the dragon type chosen, add 1d6 of that damage type to the chosen weapon's next hit. If the user has Pact Boon: Pact of the Blade, the user instead adds 1d8 of the chosen damage type when targeting their pact weapon. You can use this feature a number of times equal to half of your warlock levels, however only one weapon can be affected at a time.
The damage die for the elemental damage increases by 1d6 at 10th level (2d6) and 14th level (3d6). The damage when affecting your pact blade increases by 1d8 at 10th level and 14th level.
You regain all uses of this feature on a long rest.
Draconic Physique
Beginning at 10th level, your body begins to take on the same physical limits and prowess of a dragon to reflect the nature of your contract. When you make a Strength or Constitution saving throw or ability check, you can expend a usage of this feature to grant yourself advantage on that roll. Additionally, when you make a melee attack roll on a target within 5 feet of you, you can use this feature to reroll the attack, but you must use this new result.
Once you use either effect of this feature, you cannot use that effect again until you finish a short or long rest.
Drake Form
Beginning at 14th level, you gain the ability to physically manifest the power of your dragon patron by temporarily warping your body with the wings, claws and tail similar to those of your dragon patron. When you activate this power, you gain access to a dragonoid form for 1 minute or until you dismiss the form yourself. During this time, you gain the following benefits:
- You gain a flight speed equal to your walking speed.
- You lose all benefits from your armor, but your AC becomes 14 + your Dexterity modifier.
- You can make two unarmed attacks with your claws. You are proficient with them when attacking. Your claws are treated as a finesse weapon and do 2d6 slashing damage.
- You can use an action to fire a breath weapon (recharge 5, 6) attack that releases your chosen element within a set range, forcing all creatures in range to make either a Dexterity or Constitution Saving Throw against your spell save DC. A creature takes 5d6 elemental damage on a failed save and half as much on a successful one.
