Base Class: Warlock
Your pact draws from a powerful source of undeath, such as a master necromancer, elder vampire, unkillable lich, or even an avatar of death itself. You may be the resurrected minion of such a being, or perhaps their chthonic schemes require a living thrall to act as their herald. It hardly matters as much as the plain fact that they are the only reason you still live, and they can easily end that life if you ever fail them completely.
Level 3: Reaper's Due
When you or a Humanoid ally within 30 feet is reduced to 1 or fewer Hit Points, you may regain one expended Pact Magic spell slot. You cannot regain a spell slot from this feature again until you finish a Short or Long Rest.
Level 3: Deathless Spells
The magic of your patron ensures you always have certain spells ready; when you reach a Warlock level specified in the Undead Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.
| Warlock Level | Spells |
|---|---|
| 3 | Gentle Repose, Inflict Wounds, Invisibility, Wrathful Smite |
| 5 | Animate Dead, Revivify |
| 7 | Blight, Death Ward |
| 9 | Antilife Shell, Raise Dead |
Level 6: Death Knell
When a creature is reduced to 0 Hit Points while within 10 feet of you, you may take a Reaction to turn that creature's violent death throes against your foes. The creature must use its Reaction to make one melee attack against another creature other than you or your allies. This attack occurs right before the creature is reduced to 0 Hit Points.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.
Level 10: Undead Resilience
When you are reduced to 0 Hit Points but not killed outright, you can instead drop to 1 Hit Point and gain Temporary Hit Points equal to your Charisma modifier plus your Warlock level.
Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest unless you expend a Pact Magic spell slot (no action required) to restore your use of it.
Level 14: Soul Sever
Once per turn when you hit a creature with an attack roll, you can offer its life to your patron. If the target has fewer Hit Points than five times your Warlock level, it dies.
Once you have killed a creature using this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest unless you expend a Pact Magic spell slot (no action required) to restore your use of it.
