Base Class: Rogue
You've never believed in a fair fight, all's fair in love and war. Employ dirty tricks, cheap shots, and underhanded techniques to ensure you always come out on top. Scoundrels excel at disrupting foes, exposing weaknesses, and exploiting every opportunity they can.
Scoundrels utilize dirty techniques like tripping opponents, throwing dirt in their eyes, and prying off portions of armor to make sure they and their allies always maintain an unfair advantage.
Dirty Fighting
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you learn the art of dirty fighting. When you succeed at an attack roll, you can choose to replace the attack with the following dirty tricks.
Throw Dirt: Throw dirt in your opponents eyes, they will need to succeed at a DEX saving throw (DC=10+ your DEX modifier) or become blinded for a number of rounds equal to your proficiency bonus. They can repeat the save at the start of their turn to remove the effect.
Sunder Armor: Rip off a chunk of armor to expose an enemy to further attacks. They will need to succeed a STR saving throw (DC=10+ your DEX modifier) or take a -2 AC penalty for a number of rounds equal to your proficiency bonus.
Kidney Shot: Use the hilt of your weapon to strike at your opponent's vitals to attempt to incapacitate them. They will need to succeed a CON saving throw (DC=10+ your DEX modifier) or be incapacitated for one round.
Distracting Target
When an enemy succeeds an attack roll against you, you can expend your reaction to let all allies within 5 feet of the enemy make an opportunity attack against them.
Sabotage
Starting at level 9 you learn how to sabotage your enemies to give you an advantage before the fight even starts. You can make a slight of hand check against an enemy within 5 feet of you that can't detect you. If you succeed, when combat starts they will take a -2 to AC, -2 to attack rolls, and you will get advantage on all attack rolls against them for the first 10 rounds of combat.
Additionally, your Dirty Tricks ignore immunities against constructs.
Unrelenting Advantage
Starting at 13th level, you learn how to immediately exploit the weaknesses you create through your dirty tricks.
Whenever an enemy fails a saving throw against one of your dirty tricks, you can immediately make a sneak attack against them (regardless of whether you satisfy the requirements of sneak attack)
Filthy Tricks
At level 17, Your mastery of underhanded combat techniques allows you to use a second dirty trick. After you expend an action to perform a dirty trick, you can use your bonus action to attempt another dirty trick.
