Base Class: Sorcerer
Those that wield Metallic Sorcery have an inner connection to the primordial element of metal, a sub-element of earth.
Level 3: Ferromancy
You gain the following benefits.
Ironskin. While unarmored, you have an armor class of 12 + your Charisma modifier.
Shape Metal. As an action, you can reshape a piece of metal that is small enough to be held in one hand into a simple shape. Such a reshaped item reverts to its original shape after 1 minute.
Steel Spells. When you cast a spell that deals damage, you can change the damage type to Thunder damage.
Level 3: Metallic Spells
When you reach a Sorcerer level specified in the Metallic Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.
| Sorcerer Level | Spells |
|---|---|
| 3 | Shield, Thunderwave, Heat Metal, Shatter |
| 5 | Lightning Bolt, Protection from Energy |
| 7 | Fabricate, Stoneskin |
| 9 | Animate Objects, Wall of Stone |
Level 6: Adamant Resilience
You've gained a natural resilience against certain elemental forces. You gain resistance to two of the following damage types of your choice: Acid, Lightning, Poison, or Thunder.
Acid Resistance
You gain resistance to Acid damage.
Lightning Resistance
You gain resistance to Lightning damage.
Poison Resistance
You gain resistance to Poison damage.
Thunder Resistance
You gain resistance to Thunder damage.
Level 14: Magnetic Blast
When you cast a spell that deals damage, targets of the spell that are wearing primarily metal armor or made of metal have disadvantage on any saving throws of the spell, and any spell attack rolls you make against such targets have advantage.
Level 18: Skymetal Carapace
As a bonus action on your turn, you can cover yourself in magical metal, forming a jagged, plated armor. For 1 minute, your armor class becomes 25, and you have immunity to nonmagical Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing damage. Creatures that attack you while under the effects of this ability take 3d8 magical Piercing damage as shards of metal get flung towards them. You can do this once, regaining the ability to use this feature upon a Long Rest.
