Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

The Oath of Pride brings individuals from across the land together in the search for love and acceptance. They often decorate themselves with a crest depicting a rainbow or a rainbow handkerchief tied around their necks. In less accepting communities, devotees to the Oath are seen as a sign of progress, and of modern values overcoming the prejudices of days gone by.

Tenets of Pride:
To Educate: Teach people to accept others, and the art of self-respect.
To Help: Offer a hand out to anyone who needs it, regardless of their past.
To Love: To share in healthy, loving relationships and to promote them wherever possible.

Oath of Devotion Spells

Level 3: Channel Divinity

Upon choosing the Oath of Pride at level 3 you gain the following two Channel Divinity option:

Channel Divinity: Radiant Pride
As an action, you can use your Channel Divinity and produce your holy symbol, which begins to emanate a strong feeling of love and acceptance. All friendly creatures within 60ft of you are bolstered by this overwhelming emotion and gain a number of temporary Hit Points equal to your Charisma modifier + your Proficiency bonus. Temporary hit points gained from this action last for up to a minute.

Channel Divinity: True Love
As an action, you can use you Channel Divinity on a creature with an Intelligence of 10 or higher and learn the name of their one true love. The creature might not be aware of this information, or may wish it to remain a secret, so you can use this information as a gift to them or as a bargaining chip.

Level 7: Caring Touch

At level 7, you have honed your caring instincts. You are able to share your love with others in their time of need.
When a friendly creature spends at least one hit die to restore their hit points during a short or long rest in your presence, you can increase the total number of hit points restored by 1d6 + your proficiency bonus.

Level 15: Perfect Harmony

At level 15, your understanding and acceptance of others is absolute. You become resistant to Psychic damage. In addition, whenever a friendly creature within 30ft would take Psychic damage, you may use your reaction to take that damage instead.

Level 20: Aura of Love

At level 20, as an action, you radiate an aura of love and acceptance. For 1 minute, any friendly creatures within 30ft gain the following benefits:

  • At the start of each of their turns, they regain 5 hit points.
  • They have resistance to necrotic and radiant damage.
  • Celestials, fey, fiends and undead have disadvantage on attack rolls made against them.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
