Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

Maybe it started when someone called your honor into question. Or perhaps you simply couldn't live without the thrill of getting inside your opponent's head and overpowering them. Either way, you have been challenged to single combat many times and issued a few challenges of your own, and have prevailed more often than not. Whether they're an urban swordsman or a country prize-fighter, Duelists are one-on-one specialists who have mastered the art of using their environment to give them an edge in a fight.

Focused Defense

While you are engaged in melee with only one enemy, you have a +2 to AC against attacks from that enemy. This bonus increases to +3 at level 7, and +4 at level 15.

Nimble Retreat

At 7th level, whenever you leave an enemy's melee reach, you can Disengage with a bonus action instead of an action. Additionally, you can opt to make a Dexterity Saving throw against the enemy's attack roll instead of Disengaging.

Never Fight Fair

While wearing a cloak or cape, you can use your bonus action to fling it in your opponent's face. Your next attack against that opponent on that turn has advantage.

Wide Reknown

Your feats as a combatant have spread far and wide and your name has become known in nearly every household. You have advantage on Persuasion and Deception checks in any region where you are known.

Aficionado

Whenever you get a critical hit with a melee weapon, roll a d6. If you roll an odd number, your opponent is disarmed and frightened of you until the end of their next turn. If you roll an even number, you disable your opponent, giving them disadvantage on all attacks for the rest of the combat.

Graceful

At 3rd level, when dropping/falling from a height of 15 feet or less, you have advantage on DEX saves/acrobatics checks to land on your feet. Climbing vertical surfaces that are 10 feet tall or less does not cost you any movement.
