Base Class: Monk
You have learned to strike not at the body, but at the soul itself. Your strikes do less damage directly but can have other effects, often just as devastating. Your goal in combat is to disable your opponents and to assist your allies.
Gentle Agony
You have tapped further into the force of ki and focus its energy, not into physical harm, but into other effects, often just as devastating. Your aim in combat is to take down your foes with negative conditions. You may give up some damage on an attack to apply effects to a target, or, change the type of damage dealt by the attack.
Attuned Touch
As you attune yourself to the souls of and yourself, you gain the ability to heal or harm with your ki. You reach into a creature's soul with the ability to mend it or harm it as you please.
Adept Touch
You have gained prowess in the art of ki manipulation and its effects have become greater. You may add one additional condition to the effects of Soul Strike as well as select conditions from the following list:
- Stunned
- Poisoned
When Using the Ki Needles action, you may either add 2d4 to the roll or add one of the following effects to the action:
- remove the frightened, blinded, or poisoned conditions from the target
- remove one point of exhaustion from the target
- you gain life equal to one fourth the damage dealt rounded down
Ki Mastery
You have mastered the way of Ki manipulation to a point where its effects are completely under your control. On a successful hit with an unarmed strike, you may change the damage type to cold, fire, piercing, or psychic. You may also spend one Ki point to see into an opponent's being and see what kind of damage immunities, resistances, or vulnerabilities it has.
