Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

Whether you grew up on the streets, irritated a few too many guards, or had to fight your way to freedom, you've become a master of winning fights. What you lack in finesse you make up for with brute strength and quick-thinking, able to prevail against all odds and be the last one standing.

Flesh and Blood

You fight to win, and you don't need anything but the shirt on your back to do it. You gain the Tavern Brawler feat. The damage of your unarmed strike increases to 1d6 at 7th level, and 1d8 at 18th. Additionally, you can add half proficiency to any improvised hostile action, such as grappling or shoving.

While wearing no armor, your AC is equal to 10 + Dexterity + Constitution. You cannot be wielding a shield.

Scrapper

Having seen your fair share of scraps, you can react quickly to danger, and keep your head even in the most harrowing situations. At 3rd level, you gain advantage on initiative rolls, and your passive perception during combat is always at advantage. Additionally, your crit range is increased to 19-20 when attacking creatures who have not yet acted. This range increases to 18-20 at 10th level, and 17-20 at 18th.

Whenever you take the Attack action on your turn and have at least one free hand, you can use your bonus action to make an unarmed attack.

Fighting Dirty

At 7th level, your brains become as useful as your fists. You gain one of the following unarmed fighting perks of your choice. You may choose an additional feature at 10th and 18th levels.

Critical Punch

Your blows can knock an opponent's brain loose. When you score a critical hit, your opponent has disadvantage on all attacks and saves until the end of your next turn.

Disarm

You can even the playing field by knocking away your opponent's weapon- or keeping it for yourself. As an action, you may attempt to disarm an opponent even if you are unarmed. You make a Strength or Dexterity check, adding your proficiency, contested by the target's Strength or Dexterity check. If you win the contest, the opponent is disarmed. If you used Strength, the item is knocked away a number of feet equal to your Strength modifier times 5. If you used Dexterity, you snatch the item away and keep it yourself. You must have at least one open hand to steal a weapon.

Shove

If an opponent is crowding you, kindly ask them to move. As an action, you roll an unarmed melee attack. If it hits, you shove an opponent 10 feet directly backward. If there is an object, structure, or person in their way, they stumble over it and fall prone. This action causes damage equal to your Strength bonus + 1. You do not need to be unarmed.

Stay Down

When you successfully attack a prone enemy, that enemy is unable to stand until the end of their next turn. Can only be used on the same opponent once per encounter. Additionally, when attacking a prone enemy, your crit range is equal to that granted by the Scrapper feature. You do not need to be unarmed.

Sucker Punch

The first time you score an unarmed strike against a creature who is surprised, the strike is a critical.

Sweep the Leg

As an action or reaction, you can attempt to trip your opponent. You make an unarmed attack role using Dexterity as your ability modifier instead of Strength. If it hits, the target is knocked prone. You may use your reaction to attempt this action in any situation where you could make an attack of opportunity. They must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw (DC 8 + your Proficiency + your Dexterity) or fall prone and have their movement reduced to 0. This cannot be attempted against a creature two or more sizes larger than you. You do not need to be unarmed.

Fighting Dirty Improvement

You gain an additional unarmed fighting perk.

I Can Do This All Day

Starting at 15th level, you fight your best when you can barely stand. When you fall below 1/4 your total hit points, you gain advantage on all attacks and hostile actions, but not on saving throws or defensive actions. Additionally, when you fall to 0 hit points, you can make a single unarmed attack against an enemy within 5 feet of you before falling unconscious.

Fighting Dirty Improvement

At 18th level, you may choose an additional unarmed fighting perk.
