Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

Blood benders are water benders who turned to the dark arts to manipulate the blood flow of their enemies. They are masters at extracting their enemies' blood from even the smallest of injuries. Blood benders are loners so they know how to do a bit of everything, from healing to sneaking and from tanking to attacking.

While fighting, the blood bender draws blood from every attack into an orb that hovers around him and at a moment's notice he can turn the orb into deadly blood spikes that he can fling at enemies dealing massive damages. A blood bender is also a skilled medic that can replenish health by transfusing blood from his orb, though most of them will heal themselves first.

Blood benders are very hard to kill since they can deflect attacks using their blood orb or petrify their enemies by momentarily restricting their blood flow. They can also evade attention by slipping into the shadows, being first and foremost rogues and assassins.

If you think you might the target of an assassination, beware of the full moon as blood benders are at their most powerful during this lunar phase.

Blood Manipulation

Upon damaging an enemy, blood benders can draw some blood from their opponent's wound (unless the creature doesn't bleed). They can also draw blood from willing ally causing them to take one damage. Blood type does not matter.

Drawn blood is maintained by the blood bender into a bloody orb that hovers around them. The blood orb can be stack with this ability up to 5 times.

Blood orb stack increases by 2 when you reach 10th level (7), 15th level (9), and 20th level (11).

Blood Shard

Use your blood orb for a deadly attack by propelling blood shards at your target (one shard per stack of blood). Each shard deals 5 damage and may target a different creature. Targets must succeed an AC 16 dexterity for half of the damage.

You can use an amount of stack you want from your orb to create the same amount of shards

This spell's damage increases by 1 when you reach 5th level (6), 9th level (7), and 14th level (8).

* - (a drop of blood, a sharp object)

Blood Transfusion

Use your blood orb to heal any creature within range (including yourself) by transfusing orb's blood into your target. The target creature must have blood regardless of blood type.

The target creature is healed by 1 hit point per stack of blood used. The condition poisoned is also removed from the target creature.

* - (a drop of blood)

Blood Shield

While you have at least 4 blood orb stacks, reduce incoming damage by 1 hit point.

Blood Paralysis

You stop the blood flow of your target causing it to paralyze. The target creature must succeed a CON AC to break away from this spell but in doing so will take 10 magic damage.

The target must have blood.

* - (a round stone)

Blood Moon

During the full moon, your powers are amplified significantly:
 - You start combat with 3 stacks to your blood orb.
 - Blood shield will block one more hit point.
 - Blood paralysis can be used as a cantrip and you can move up to 30 feet while casting it (Despite concentration - Must stay in spell range).

Blood Summon

You can summon a small creature for a limited amount of time using a target's blood.

  • The target can be yourself, a willing ally or an incapacitated enemy (you can't use the blood orb as a source for the blood).
  • Maintaining this too long can cause the target to faint from blood loss.
  • Failing to bring back the summoned creature within 10 ft of the target or letting it be destroyed will cause the target to take 10 damage from blood loss.

The summoned creature has a physical form, so it can carry objects or interact with its environment in a logical way depending on its form (ex.:, any small animal nearing a cat's size)

* - (a part of the creature you wish to make a double out of (hair, nail, flesh...))

Advanced Blood Manipulation

Your advanced mastery of blood bending allows you to manipulate blood's temperature and appearance including your own. Changing your blood temperature can help you avoid detection from certain creatures and withstand extreme temperatures.

Cold Blooded Clone

You create an ice blood clone of yourself using 5 blood orb stacks and you slip unnoticed in a shadow dimension from where you are invisible and untouchable.

From the shadows, you may control your clone at will to fool your enemies, but the clone cannot attack, use items, speak or interact with allies.
You must stay within 30 feet and line of sight of your clone to maintain control. When you decide or when your clone is damaged, it will shatter in a thousand shards of blood, dealing 20 damage to all nearby creatures (10 feet radius) and making you visible and targetable again.

* - (one of your hair)

Spellcasting

When you reach 3rd level, you gain the ability to cast spells.
