Monk
Base Class: Monk

Gladiators use their power to defeat their foes as quickly and efficiently as possible. Some might see them as reckless, but they use their skills and prowess in combat to dominate their foes swiftly. They manipulate their ki to give themselves an advantage, and to weaken their enemies.

Relentless Attacking

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can find weaknesses in your enemies defenses that allows you to attack with ease. If you have advantage on an attack roll, you can expend spend 1 ki point to may an additional unarmed attack against the same target.

Dominance of the Warrior

Beginning at 6th level, you can harness your abilities to work at peak performance while fighting. You may spend 2 ki points to cast either Heroism as a first level spell (using Wisdom as the spellcasting ability modifier), targeting yourself, or Compelled Duel. At 11th level, you can cast Enlarge/Reduce, using the Enlarge option on yourself once per long rest.

Forceful Shove

At 11th level, you have trained enough to think quickly and act even quicker. When you take the Attack action, you can make a Shove attack afterwards as a bonus action. Additionally, you can empower yourself during this to push them further. If successful, you can then expend 3 ki points to push them 10 feet and then knock them prone.

Ki-Fueled Rage

Starting at 17th level, you can focus all your energy and power into a form of pure fury. As a bonus action, you can expend 7 ki points to enter a controlled, concentrated rage. You gain the following benefits:

  • You gain a second reaction, which you can use at any time, but only once per turn.
  • Whenever you use your Power of the Warrior feature, you can make an unarmed attack after.
  • You have advantage on Constitution checks and saving throws.
  • You have advantage on Strength (Athletics) checks made to grapple.

This effect lasts for 1 minute, or until you end it using a bonus action. You may only use this once, and gain the ability to do so again when you finish a long rest.
