Ancient Studies

Beginning at 2nd level, your continued studies in the ancient ways of magic has learned you more than just the magic that they hold. You learn 2 exotic languages and you gain proficiency in History or in another skill if you already have proficiency in it. You have advantage on any Intelligence check that you make to learn about long lasting magics like magical items, magical creatures or long lasting spells.

Arcane Bonding

At 2nd level you have learned ancient ways to imbue objects with your spells. After you finish a long rest or short rest you can imbue a small mundane non-magical object like a ring or pendant with one spell that you have in your spellbook by spending a spell slot. The spell needs to be 2nd level or lower and must be an action or bonus action to cast. The expended spell slot level is equal to the level spell you cast on the object. An object can only hold one spell at a time.

While wearing this object, the wearer can cast a spell that is imbued in the object. The spell uses the slot level, spell save DC, spell Attack bonus, and Spellcasting Ability of the original caster, but is otherwise treated as if you cast the spell.

The spell disappears after it has been cast or if another object has been imbued with a spell using this feature

Antique Technique

At 6th level, you have mastered ancient techniques of spellcasting in such a unique way that you can see beforehand if someone resists your magic or not. As a bonus action you can choose a creature within 60 feet to foresee his roll. You roll a d20. If you cast a spell on the same turn that forces the creature to make a saving throw he must use the roll that you made with this feature.

Additionally, If you or your spells are subject to Counterspell or Dispel Magic spells the target needs to an ability check using their spellcasting modifier with disadvantage that is 10 + the spell level, even when the spell is equal or lower than the Counterspell or Dispel Magic.

Ancient Memorization
