Base Class: Druid

Circle of the Microbe Druids are wise and typically quite peaceful. They meet in swamps, bogs and other biomes in which there are a particularity high density of bacteria. Some members choose to spend much of their lives in bacterial form although that is not the norm. Druids of this circle have learned to appreciate the impact of the microscopic creature on the world around us in a very deep way.

Awareness of Microbia

When you choose this circle at second level, you gain immunity to disease as you can better understand and even primitively communicate with the bacteria inside you.

Extended Wild Shape

When you choose this circle at 2nd level, you gain the ability to wild shape into bacterial forms. These can be from the following list or any other bacteria that is approved by the DM:

Tardigrade

Caulobacter crescentus

Deinococcus radiodurans.

Infect Host

Starting at 6th level, you gain the ability to invade a host in bacterial form. You can use a wild shape to infect a host within 5 feet of you. The host must make a CON save against your spellcasting DC. On a success, they must use their bonus action at the start of their next turn to vomit, at which point you are ejected and return to your humanoid form. If they fails you manage to successfully infect them. You may infect any of the following area's:

Brain: The target must make a WIS save, or you infect their brain, allowing you to control their movements, actions and speech. The target may repeat this save at the end of each of your turns. 

Heart: The target must make a CON save, or you may use your action on following turns to do 6d12 poison damage to the target the target may repeat the save each time you use this action.

Spinal Cord: The target makes a CON save with disadvantage or you infect their spinal cord paralyzing them. You must maintain your position and use your action to maintain this status. The target may repeat this CON save each time you use this action.

Nerves: Without incurring another save, you may attach yourself to any of the targets nerves allowing you to experience the sensations the creature would experience. You may also may use your action to cause the condition of deafness, blindness etc. You can also you your action to change the sensation the creature experiences as you see fit. The target may make a WIS save to determine that they are hallucinating, with the DC determined by the DM based on how believable their sensations are.

If a creature is successful, in any of their saves, their immune system rejects you and they vomit ejecting you from their body. If the target dies will you are infecting them, you exit the target immediately and return to your human form.

Disease Ward

When you reach 10th level, you gain the ability to effect the biomes of your allies. You can use a bonus action to give any number of allies within 60ft of you immunity to disease, ending any current conditions. 

Bacterial Diet

At 3rd level, you gain the ability to lower your food intake if necessary. 1 day of rations can last you a week.

Bacterial Onslaught

When you reach 14th level, you gain the ability to call on bacteria as an ally in times of need. Once per long rest, you may use your action to call upon the microbes in an organism to attack their host. Choose one target who must make a CON save. On a failure, they take 20d10 necrotic damage as their microbiome eats them alive. On a success they take half that.
