Base Class: Monk
Monks of the Way of the Iron Fist are champions of unarmed combat. They learn techniques to better themselves in the ways of dealing damage with their fists, Taking and preventing damage. Taking advantage of gaps in the enemies attacks. And finally extending the power of your ki to your fists
Iron Attacks
You learn to imbue your fists with ki granting you the abillity to imbue your unarmed attacks with one of the following effects
- The creature must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone.
- The creature must make a Strength saving throw. If it fails, you can push it up to 15 feet away from you.
- You can take a -5 penaly to attack for a +10 to the damage roll
Iron Defense
At 6th level your training in the way of the iron fist focuses your ki into your skin which has made it harder for you to take damage. Whenever you take the patient defense bonus action you can choose to forgo the dodge action and instead add AC equal to your Constitution Modifier (to a minimum of +1)
at 11th Level your skin becomes so hardened you gain resistance against Bludgeoning, Piercing and Slashing damage by non magical attacks when you take the iron defense variant to patient defense
Iron Brawler
Beginning at 11th level, you use your familiarity with combat to take advantage of gaps in the enemies attacks to punish them. Whenever an enemy misses you with an attack you can use your reaction to immediately make an attack on the attacking creature.
Iron Fist
By 17th level, your training in the way of the Iron Fist has granted you the ability to put more force and Ki behind your punches. Whenever you make an unarmed attack using the attack action you can choose to expend ki points to deal additional damage. The target must make a constitution saving throw or take 1D12 points of bludgeoning damage per ki point or half as much on a successful save.
