Base Class: Monk
You have put yourself into the study of chakra and ki. While other monks may have use of ki, they haven't tempered the fundamental uses of it. You channel life essence itself, that flows through the world and yourself, to bring up the balance of life and death through chakra.
Chakra Strikes
Starting at 3rd level when you pick this subclass, you have unlocked a power to make your martial arts go even further. As a bonus action, you can empower parts of your body, by changing the flow of your chakra, and concentrating it into certain points, spending two ki points. For 1 minute, whenever you make an unarmed strike, they will deal an extra 1d4 necrotic damage. While your body is empowered, the points that you have focused your chakra glow, shedding light within a 5 feet radius, making dim light bright, and darkness dim light.
When you initially activate this ability, you can spend an additional 2 ki points for another d4 of necrotic damage with each strike.
Chakra Protection.
Beginning at 6th level, you can now cause chakra to emit off of your skin. As a reaction to an magical attack, you can spend 3 ki points to gain advantage to the attack's saving throw if it requires one, or a +3 to your AC if it requires a roll to hit.
Chakra Projection
At 11th level, you can now send chakra away from your body through the manipulation of your ki. Pick one of the following abilities.
The Land's Gift
As an action, you can spend 3 kit points to target a creature within 10 feet of you. The target will be healed for 3d8 hit points, as your hands and their injuries briefly glow in the light of ki. You can also use your bonus action to spend 2 more ki points, and change the d8's to d12's.
The Land's Wrath
As a bonus action, you can spend 5 ki points to launch chakra into the earth, with a simple firm movement. All hostile creatures within 15 feet of you must make a constitution saving throw. On a failure, your ki will erupt from the earth, and deal 2d10 force damage to a target. This does half as much on a failure.
Flow Manipulation
Starting at 17th level, you gain the power to manipulate a creature's chakra flow by using your own ki. When touching a creature, you can spend 5 ki points as an action, to change the flow of their body. You must make a wisdom saving throw against 8 + (the target's constitution modifier + their proficiency bonus), even if they are willing. You can pick on of the following effects:
- You can cause their body to flow normally, removing curses.
- You can cause blood to flow rampantly, making each unarmed strike or weapon attack against them deal an additional 1d4 damage.
- You can cause them to be unable to utilize ki for 1 minute.
- You can cause them to be unable to cast spells for 1 minute.
- You can make them receive a level of exhaustion (maximum of 1).
Unless an effect ends earlier, it lasts until the target takes a long rest, or you touch them again to end it.
