Base Class: Warlock
Pact of the Collector
Your patron grants you a +1 weapon with which you are proficient or a +1 rod of the pact keeper. This first piece in your collection will magically improve to a +2 version at 6th level and a +3 version at 11th level. You also receive one of the following wondrous items: cloak of the manta ray, decanter of endless water, helm of comprehending languages, rope of climbing, wand of secrets. Additionally, your patron grants you a bag of holding in which you may carry your growing collection of trinkets, curios, and magical things.
Finally, you are able to cast the identify spell at will, and you know with certainty from this spell whether or not a magic item is cursed.
Eldritch Invocations
Eldritch Attunement
Prerequisite: Pact of the Collector feature
You may attune to four magic items at one time, and it only takes you ten minutes to attune or unattune to magic items.
Collector's Eye
Prerequisite: Pact of the Collector feature
You gain proficiency in History if you don't have it already. Furthermore, you instinctively know the material composition and surface level cultural or historical significance of any piece of artwork, relic, collectible, or other item of interest you come across without needing to make a check, as well as its current market value in gp.
Perfected Prize
Prerequisite: 9th level, Pact of the Collector feature
You may cast remove curse at will. When casting remove curse on a cursed magic item that is not attuned to a creature, you may make a DC 17 Arcana check. On a success, the curse is removed from the magic item, leaving its beneficial properties intact. On a failure, the magic item is permanently destroyed, and one random magic item in your possession is sent to a random plane of existence (DM's choice).

Posted Feb 26, 2025I feel like it needs to go beyond 11th level and you need to be able to get additional wondrous items at higher levels

Posted Oct 19, 2023Honestly not bad, I think it was mostly downvoted because it doesn't function properly when added, but that's mostly because ddb doesn't have a way to make functional homebrew pact boons.

Posted Oct 19, 2022Im new, so maybe this is a me thing. But when I add this as my warlocks patron. It does not add any of the noted proficiencies in the app. Is this a mistake, or do I need to somehow add those on myself, if so how so?

Posted Jul 26, 2018I think this isn't an actual patron, but rather one of the pacts you would choose at 3rd level. This is basically another option to be able to match with Pact of the Blade or Pact of the Tome. Sadly, D&D Beyond doesn't appear to have a way to create a homebrew option for a class feature and not an entirely new subclass.

Posted Jul 22, 2018I would change Eldritch Attunement to:
You may attune to one additional magic items at one time, and it only takes you ten minutes to attune or unattune to magic items.
I suggest this as in some campaigns players can already attune to 4 magic items or have a feat that does the same thing. this just cleans it up a bit. :)

Posted Jun 5, 2018I’m gonna day you get way, WAY, too much at level one.
I mean a +1weapon (or scaling magic rod), wonderful item, and a bag of holding to boot? Too much, too much. Besides you can’t even take the other pacts until level three so why would you get this one at level one?
To much free cool stuff at too low a level in my opinion. But if your DM says go for it, who am I to argue?
