Base Class: Monk
The monks of the Vintrak Plains have developed their own fighting style unique to their upbringing. It is harsh and direct, like the lands around them, and emulates some of the abilities of the barbarian warriors they fight and train beside.
Brawler Training
When you choose this tradition at level 3, you gain 6 additional hit points. You gain 2 additional hit points per monk level thereafter.
Rage
At 6th level, you learn to lose yourself in battle, gaining the ability to Rage as a Barbarian while retaining their Martial Arts masteries. A Vintrak Brawler's rage is approximately that of a Barbarian half their level.
Recklessness
Starting at 11th level, you can throw aside all concern for defense to attack with fierce desperation. When you make your first attack on your turn, you can decide to attack recklessly. Doing so gives you advantage on melee weapon attack rolls using unarmed strikes or monk weapons, but attack rolls against you have advantage until your next turn.
You also gain an additional use of your Rage feature.
Feral Instinct
By 17th level, your instincts are so honed that you have advantage on initiative rolls.
Additionally, if you are surprised at the beginning of combat and aren’t incapacitated, you can act normally on your first turn, but only if you enter your rage before doing anything else on that turn, and your bonus damage with monk weapons while raged increases to +3.
