Artificer
Base Class: Artificer

You have discovered how to make a special and scientific food. This is something that is made of sometimes simple ingredients, but can be complex, and made in layers. The base is even a special food in itself, scientifically made of milk! This is something you have devoted your research to, while some use this knowledge to give treats to others, some will keep its taste to themselves out of greed.

Parfait Spells

Starting at 3rd level, you have learned new spells, and will continue to grow with these. These spells count as artificer spells for you, but not against your prepared spells.

Parfai-itician Spells

Crafted Dish

Starting at 3rd level, you now know how to simply make a parfait in seconds. You first get proficiency in cooking utensils. Also, long as you are touching, or have on you, a fruit, half a pint of milk or cream, and a container, you can use an action to make a parfait. This parfait can be eaten as a bonus action to heal (half your artificer level (rounded down))d4 of hit points. Parfaits will also be used for future class features.

You can make parfaits in this way a number of times equal to your intelligence modifier + your proficiency bonus (minimum of 1).

Whipped Up Magic

Beginning at 5th level, you can use your cooking utensils to cast a spell. When spells are cast in this way, any cold or fire damage dealing spells of 1st level or higher will have an additional 1d8 of that damage type. If you use cooking utensils to cast a cantrip that deals cold or fire damage, it will deal an additional 1d4 of that damage type.

Parfait Infusions

Starting at 9th level, you can now make special parfaits with a little bit of magic, and some extra materials. When you make a parfait you can put a special ingredient in it, or add the ingredient to an existing one with an action. Only one special ingredient can be inside of a parfait at a time.

  • You can put half a pound of any metal but gold into the parfait, giving a +1 bonus to AC to the user. A creature can't gain this benefit twice. This lasts a number of rounds equal to your proficiency bonus.
  • You can infuse 10 gold worth of herbs, adding your proficiency bonus and intelligence modifier to the amount healed.
  • You can put in 5 gold, giving advantage to performance and persuasion checks for 1 minute to the user.
  • You can use a spell slot of 1st level or higher to give the user an extra 1d4 of force damage to weapon attacks for 1 minute.

Brain Freeze

Beginning at 15th level, you have reached the highest perfection of this savory confection. You now have immunity to cold damage, and can no longer be affected by cold temperatures in the slightest. Also, whenever you make a parfait, you can cast a spell at the same time. If the spell you cast while making a parfait deals cold damage, once per long rest you can choose for it to do the max damage.
