Base Class: Monk

3rd level

Augmented Martial Arts:  The character may augment all unarmed attacks with lightning, dealing an additional 2d8 damage, this ability can be toggled on and off.

Advanced Ki Control: The character can utilize Ki as a repellent or magnetic force on parts of their body e.g. water walking or running up trees; consumes 1 Ki  if character ends a turn while using this ability.

Lightning rush: The character performs a flurry of kicks and punches all enhanced by lightning, consuming 1 Ki and dealing 2d12 lightning damage.

Raikiri: A lightning coated jab attack dealing 3d10 piercing damage, damage is increased to 3d12 if performed on an enemies rear, consumes 2 Ki.

Advanced Ki Control costs no Ki.

7th level:

Fizz the Labrador: summon a Lightning Labrador with two abilities for 5 minutes, consumes 4 Ki. Reckless Charge, the lightning Labrador dashes up to 6ft dealing 3d8 damage to all passed through & Lightning Burst, a cone shaped lightning bolt spanning 15ft dealing 2d8 damage. 

Body Flicker: Utilize your knowledge of lightning to move at the speed of sound, allowing the character to vanish into a puff of lightning moving up to 100ft and reappearing, can be used as a dash action, consumes 2 Ki. If used as a dash action, you do not provoke actions of opportunity. At level 15, Body Flicker costs no Ki and can be followed by an immediate Raikiri. 

11th level:

Rajin's Descent: Takes 3 turns to charge, character is unable to make actions for the duration of the charging stage other than canceling the charge. The charging stage is canceled if the player is damaged, consumes 3 Ki per turn charged. Once charged;  a dragon shaped attack decends from the sky ranging up to 120ft dealing 4d20 AOE damage in a 30ft circle from the point of contact.

 17th level:

The Mark of Raijin:  When acquired, the character is marked with a tattoo signifying relative mastery of the discipline, subsequently elevating previously developed skills. Raijin's Descent now deals 5d20 damage in a cirlce of 50ft ranging up to 200ft, consumes 4 Ki per turn charged.  Body flicker can now move up to 150ft.  Fizz the Labrador now stays summoned until defeated or dispelled. Raikiri now deals 4d12 or 5d12 if performed on a targets rear. Augmented Martial Arts now deals 2d12 , if an unarmed attack is performed on a paralyzed target or an unarmed attack paralyzes a target, you may perform Lightning Rush as an additional action dealing 3d12 damage. Additionally, the Mark of Raijin grants access to the ultimate limit shattering ability: Potential Unleashed.

The Mark of Raijin

The mark of Raijin appears as a dragon tattoo on the right forearm of the player, signifying relative mastery of the Way of the Thunder God. This mark unlocks the players current latent potential regarding the martial art, critically this potential can be grown through training. When the player is pushed to their absolute limit, the mark responds in kind, shattering their current limits for the duration of initiative, however once initiative is over, the character will suffer from a damaged Ki system and is unable to fight until medical treatment or a long rest is acquired.
